if you're looking for scummy positioning around Malakittens, you should take a look at MalcolmTucker. Absolute fencesitting.

Although I do not agree that Malakittens should be anyone's top townread. I still think that early slips like that could be valid, and they shouldn't be townread just because they were the first wagon of the game. I do not think Roden and ItalianoVD are scum just because they are pushing Malakittens. So if you have something to say about these slots, we'll listen.

Similarly I am sus of JacksonVirgo's townread of me — I don't think we've played enough that he can make such a confident call.

I do agree that NK15 and Koopashell's play compels me to read them as town.

There hasn't been really too many, not usually is hard action this early. A hard stance by a scum to politically position, a lofty pocket play, a claim gambit.

Technically, you can consider my Italiano vote something thats more hard action, and if you notice, it brought the direction of the game in another direction, which was kind of my purpose all day. i wanted to interact directly more with some slots.

My reads list is almost like a trap to set scum who are potentially town read by me to try to get me to keep town reading them, so i play with that type of thing in mind while still trusting the logic and tone reads.

I think Italiano's linking of Koopa and Myself specifically while leaning town on me is the scummier part of it. Had they scum read me, it would have felt more null to me.

I'm not really understanding HEM's early progression on Koopa in going from a mafia read to a TR. Feels a bit manufactured, if HEM is mafia they perhaps felt a push wasn't going to be sustainable for whatever reason and backed away from it. I don't think Koopa's style has particularly change from immediate early game to now in a way that would substantially alter your read of them at all.

1: Their initial reason for suspicion was based on facts from a misunderstanding, and only after it was cleared up, did they choose to vote.
2: This happens after Koopa and I both voted onto Italiano, meaning if Koopa/FL is T/T, then scum would definitely need to start breaking this up. This is especially true of Malakittens is also town.
3: Their push is just kinda forced in a way that looks to break up a townblock. Like they came into it with the plan of eventually pushing me, and once we got cleared up and went to diffuse, they chose to vote. That was almost like a desperate act to make sure that the heat of Monk vs FL kept up, and I'm willing to give them the fire.

I actually quite like your link between Flavor initially saying Italiano had done nothing but also then taking the most decisive action (or something to that effect) in the game. Did feel like a contradiction and was making me doubt my Flavor TR.

Here’s the thing that makes this extra spicy.

Human said the flip isn’t believable yet was actually trying to push me because they thought you were town, and they angled it in a way that was factually incorrect on a base level.

So their “not believable flipping of read” is also built upon that factually incorrect base they presented, but then when they found that out they started the push.

If HEM was coming from a town POV, a Town HEM should WANT me to see Italiano as Town, but now the thing that they were calling me out for is flipped and they’re pushing as the exact opposite.

I genuinely don't think someone with a reputation like FL simply easily gets pressure from half the playerlist as an informed party - especially since there is no need to as there was no other person really under pressure beforehand.
While it would be nice for FL to explain in more detail their progession, it seems they are a person who struggles to do that naturally and they dont know how to say that.
That's personally my take on the matter right now. I am in no means married to this position but at the moment it makes no sense for FL to play this way from an informed point of view.

i was planning on reading that FL's April Ludgate gameplay. I was in that game, but I was NK'd before we got to play. I was watching from the dead thread. I disagree pretty heavily about their progression being natural, it reads to me as forced, manipulative and opportunistic in its nature. I did not really realise what Malcom just called out but that is also another reason for me to believe there's scum between FL and NK. Obviously concluding in NK for me as my read on FL isn't anywhere near NK currently even though the obvious paranoia still remains.

my strongest point against Mala was that I dont see any town motivation for fakeclaiming mason, and she has been a nonpresence in this game except for that one move.
i also dont trust koopa anymore. im getting visions of him being the traitor crumbing earlier and that's why his positioning has been constantly shifting.
i also trust these emotional outbursts less and less. they're beginning to look incongruent to how i imagine someone would normally react... to a game of mafia...

i also started the malakittens wagon just to test if you guys truly are the mason. if koopa didn't sheep, that means he created a smokescreen for both of you and you guys are actual masons. (so he can eat the NK.) if koopa didn't sheep, im immediately off you two right there and then. but that didn't happen. i am now beginning to feel like he actually intended to play like that at first, have that plausible deniability, then exploited the actuality that no mason counterclaimed by solidifying himself as town leader.
