My experience playing mafia is just a few games, almost always getting voted off the first day as town. I mostly just play the mishmash games on the forum. I am not so good at forming words and writing things so please be patient with me. I will attempt to come up with some reads today.

The read has softened a bit over time (since others have brought up reasonable arguments about it and your reactions haven’t been as suspicious now), but it’s not yet to a nullread.

I think that post is much more likely to come from town. It makes sense for a townie to openly feel relieved after one person townreads them following a slew of scumreads

I'm okay with this, I think it's valid scumhunting technique to ask other what they think and then analyze the response. The only thing that pings me about Charles is the series of questions before this where he was like "Hey XX, do you think I'm scummy? How about you, ZZ?"

i don't have any thoughts honestly? blackstar hasn't stood out to me at all compared to some others like adante or charles, thus my previous question

this is out of place in the current conversation but while adante’s activeness and making associations so quickly puts me off a bit, if they were scum they likely would have stopped pushing rather than making the partnership read and reaffirming their confidence in animated being scum.

I don't think it's actually very natural as a newbie to decide to make a reads list on every player in the game right out of the gate - especially if half your notes on people are "no thoughts" or just describing what they've done so far with no added commentary

In fact brightbluebug, I will give you a few bits to be aware of to start you off.
Apologies if this is patronising, just trying to help.

I’ve been mod cleared as town. I’m a role known as the innocent child. Basically my existence makes your pool to find mafia in smaller, but also gives mafia a free hit night 1.

If you are town, you will need to consider who’s lying to you. Which is a lot harder by text but it is not impossible. Human beings are predictable by nature. You need to consider what you know about liars in real life and try and look for tells.

If you are scum, I would ask your scum chat for advice
