Hey town, I replaced in and got alot of time to catch up on the game. Looks like three people were applying too much pressure on Andy which made him go temporarily insane and kill himself off. Many many scum tells though so he might've helped.

Looking at who ekiM suspected is another avenue to take towards finding scum for today. Quick re-read of his cases might help players who are drawing blanks.

To be honest, I’m at a loss now. Having re-read the thread, I realized that the whole Day 1 discussion focused so much on AndyTony that I can hardly find any tells (whether scum or town) on anyone else. Since ekiM’s first post (#8) I had a townish feeling about him but he’s gone; Clu also made some good points; fuzzylighting is neutral on my scumdar; Empking looks no odder than usual; and since maadneet was a complete null tell to me because of his flakiness, I’m curious to see how PhilyEc will evolve.

Well to me it looks like Andy is to blame. He put town into a situation where applying pressure on the towns cop became a town trait. Everyone joined in on the persecution including yourself thus scum have slipped past the radar and into the crowd of those who cared to disagree with Andy's take on things (huge semantics issue occured)

What we have to look for are the people who focused more on the semantics and less on using this attention on him to make him seem scummy. The opportunistic comments from yesterday will find us our scum.

Empking, but thats always the case for me. He was on Andy from the beginning and seemed to slip away from the debate as things turned ugly for Andy. Seems like he took advantage and let town tear Andy apart. I don't remember Empking making 'opportunistic' moves though which makes me doubt my own suspicion as such a move is more of a scumtell in my opinion.

I don't think AT has a point, his main argument was that people were suspicious of him and even he thought AT should be hammered.

Did you just notice this too? Fuzz obviously isnt paying attention to the game but instead runs along side the theme of my question, assuming its a run of the mill case of someone asking for a mass claim. Instead of giving an opinion he asks a pretty useless question at that, far too safe a move.

Then they deserve re-reads. Fuzzy hasn't contributed enough to go either way, but that said for someone so uninvolved he still managed to decide Andy deserved to be lynched. Sheepish town or opportunistic/lurker scum? (sounds like hes a ninja) Empking, could you categorise those 3 in order of who you suspect more? (1 being most likely scum)

How does this make my vote on AndyTony a deliberate cop lynch? How should I have known that he was the cop? Back then, I didn’t even know if we had a cop at all.

I hadn't accused anyone of knowing his role. I'm stating that this lynch was scum driven in my eyes. The fact that he was a cop was just a major benefit but a case like that would have never stood unless scum settled the doubts of the town players through some sort of success on logic (easy to do with Andy's huge pile of mistakes and backtracking).

I initially voted for AndyTony as a random vote, yeah, but I then kept my vote on him for a couple of reasons.

Looks to me like you liked where your vote was and though you acknowledged it was still just debates over semantics, never unvoted. You must've been pretty sure he was scum to not take off a random vote...

Empking: I'm not sure, but given that from what I gathered he always plays like this, he doesn't come across as scummy.

scum, it's been a day since a vote has been put on him. I would have thought that the two scum would have just quicklynched him else, after all, that would mean they win. I mean, there could be reasons not to to in other set ups, but when everyone knows exactly what's out there, I don't see why they wouldn't just, y'know, go for it right away.

Just a thought, at this poitn, there's no reason for the scum to be clever about avoiding a quicklynch.

Ok, I don't understand Empking telling me if I am town to claim or die, considering I didn't even have a vote at that point. But also asking for a quicklynch after putting a vote on me, that seems anti-town for him to do.

If the town would like me to claim, could two people, not Empking ask me to claim?

As far as who I think is scum, this game has become like many newbie's, with all the lurking, myself included, although it is because I don't have my computer back yet. I still have to use the firehouse computer and I am not normally on for that long.

I digress, currently, my top 2 are UP and Empking. Empking mainly for tunneling, now I realize that he is tunneling on me,, so this may seem OMGUS, but he hasn't looked at anyone else today as far as I can tell. UP because of the way he focused on AT yesterday.

Is the only case on me right now really for the fact that I have not been active in this game and haven't been quicklynched?

Player behaviour over the reaction to the prospect of your lynch being so cautious is a good tell that theres scum being targetted for a lynch since scum themselves push for mislynches, hastening the voting process. I've only seen Empking pushing for a lynch to be honest. He seems positive you're scum (not sure why as even though Im in the 90% sure area I don't want to vote yet). Do claim though, town is considering your lynch.

@Clu, why would scum drag out an easy lynch like this? I could understand what you said but since everyone wants a lynch on Fuzzy it doesnt make much sense for scum to wait. Rather, I'd say because this isnt happening theres alot more reason to consider Fuzzy scum
