The Sun was warm that day. As the crowd split and divided into factions several of them started to sweat from the heat off the pavement and simply the proximetry of bodies. I mean, there

The case of the vandals was discussed, but no progress was made. But when Dragonspawn requested a special audience and told the town he had seen who had killed Monkeyman he was met with hostility.
'How do you know who went there last night?' A voice bellowed.
-'Well, Simple enough, I was watching the house.'
'But how did you know to watch, and at that specific time . . . ?' came the retort. 'He's one of them, I tell ya!'
And with that the crowd erupted into a frenzy of shouted threats. Dragon was brought over to the tree that shaded Columbus in the summer. A rope thrown over its lowest branches. A chair set beneath.
