both mulch and skitter showed signs of understanding the game enough to not play the way both did d1. the discrepancy between skitter's logic, which is always pretty great, with putting people on fucking L-1 twice just don't mash together. her vote on Maria seems fake, she was townreading that slot! She has no reason to be townreading misère this gameday. in fact, no one does. misère did nothing particularly villagery, and then helped a villager get hammered.

when skitter had 5 votes on her, the usual suspects were not voting her.

Mulch is scummy. there are plenty posts of his where the tone is off. he is also pretty soft with skitter. and I think the whole him being the one calling out majority lynch on Maria is scummy, especially the phrasing in this post:

I'm just doing a quick skim trying to parse out interactions that don't make sense as scum together.

there are definitely lots of wolves in misère, mulch, chip and skitter. 2, maybe 3. I think skitter's first L-1 on havo and staying in the thread, watching havo softclaim a PR so people unvote, still wait for an hour, and only unvote once I got ITT and removed the L-1 chance is outing scum behaviour, and needs to get lynched this gameday 100% of the time. Mulch still scumreading Havo for 'bs claim' when Havo was L-1 and about to die is senseless and scummy as well. His push of Maria is pretty bad around these pages. also interesting to point out that Mulch is doing a lot of reading early on but never gets to read into skitter's L-1 vote on Havo. It's also pretty hardcore openwolfing that Mulch tunneled Havo so hard for a hardclaim.

Sergtacos looks good pushing both Mulch and Chip for trying to make Havo hardclaim.

On re-read, I think there's a good chance HEM could be scum. this is pretty disgusting:

My top scumreads are Skitter and Mulch, and I think there's a lot of evidence ITT from the 3 big wagons that support it. the Havo wagon had Skitter putting him at L-1, interacting for an hour and not unvoting after the softclaim, and then unvoting only after I left that wagon and moved somewhere to avoid capping. Felt like she was waiting. And then Mulch appeared ITT some 20 minutes later, when lynching Havo was no longer a thing, and went 'this game is moving fast!'. then he started pressured Havo super hard for a hardclaim, and voted him and shaded Maria for terrible reasons all around. if Mulch appeared ITT earlier, he'd have capped the loyal Cop with Skitter's help.

Throughout D1 Mulch avoided reading into the Havo wagon and kept shading other posters. A wagon starts on Maria, Mulch is hard pressing her, and then Skitter appears once again with the L-1 vote. this time she probably thought it was L-2, but the problem is she was townreading Maria! The case against Maria was extremely thin anyway, she just quoted some hedgy posts and went 'ew' and voted there. doesn't feel very real to me. and Mulch was the first one to notice Maria was capped, which I'm sure is >rand scum cause scum is paying more attention. the way he phrased it started with 'I think Virt fucked this one up bad' and then 'why did nobody else notice this' which doesn't feel very genuine.

who is wolfing with this pair, IDK. chip has equity, HEM has equity. misère has equity.

I think Fykus and Tacos look the best from d1 as per their reactions and in what direction they were pushing. Thor looks ok, but kind of on the fence enough that I don't love it. Chip looks terrible on the surface but he gives mulch some shading for saying he could lynch misère, and the whole thing didn't look quite like wolfing together. he and skitter also pushing each other heavy this gameday, which doesn't necessarily mean anything.

I'm not 'better' than anyone, not in the way you think I think I am. the level of play I'm used to is quite different though. here are some pointers:

1- don't MAJ lynch people 20% into d1;
2- don't push people to hardclaim PR if they softclaim 20% into d1;
3- don't go out of bat with associative scum reads super early on when not even all the players entered the thread yet, you're almost always wrong when you say stuff like that;
4- definitely always look into people playing a pro-scum agenda. when two town have flipped already and got hard pushed, look into who did it and if their reasons were solid and they believed it. probably a good idea to make people accountable for what they pushed for, otherwise scum can just run over everyone.

BBT (vote and push, not particularly strong)
maria (strong push)
fykus (voted, strong push)

the only townread I've seen from him was sergtacos.

he did not much misère or skitter throughout the game, pushed everyone else. and now when he voted skitter, he faked that making it the L-1 vote and then unvoted, like I predicted.

if HEM is actually scum, skitter, sergtacos and misère are the most probably scumbuddies.

he would likely spew Mulch town too.

For Havo, I disliked the way he reacted to the wagon that was built on him; the way he reacted just kinda looked like caught scum to me. Instead of explaining his thought process, he just devolved into shouting that it was too early to get reads. Even as pressure built on him, he just kept screaming his talking point of 'I CAN'T HAVE READS YET IT'S TOO EARLY' instead of trying to, say, analyze the votes on his wagon, or, you know, try to come up with some opinions on the gamestate. Enough had happened at that point that I felt his resistance to analyzing like anything was coming from scum who was taking refuge in the defense that he felt he *couldn't* yet.

For Maria, I initially liked the way she reacted to Havo's claim in 164. I also liked the way she was pushing Mulch.

However, I had some hesitations. She was never on the *highest* tier of townreads because there were some things I didn't like. Her vote on Chip in that post was slightly odd, especially since she later admitted that it was partially OMGUS based. I also didn't like her push on HEM, because I liked his 'let the PRs sort themselves out' stance, and has held onto those views while under pressure, or her reaction to WM's vote on her.

The thing that tipped her over into a scumread was her misere vote in 932. It was incredibly opportunistic. She had called Chip out earlier for doing the same thing (164), but chose to hop on the misere thing literally as a survival vote, which she herself admitted. Not only that, she decidedly stayed away from the other wagons that were actually happening and decided to start a vanity wagon that her scumread was pushing. This seemed inconsistent in that she was listening to a scumread, and that she was ignoring several other viable wagons in favor of starting a bandwgon on someone I was townreading.

I also still don't get why we're pushing misere atm. Yeah, it made sense to push them while they were lurking, but now that we're (eventually maybe) getting a replacement, the activity thing shouldn't be a problem once someone replaces in and we can sort them properly. I don't like voting slots that don't have people behind them who can't defend themselves. I feel like the misere wagon is being opportunistically utilized by scum to push a lynch.

I'm also slightly concerned by the fact that in this gamestate BBT's wagon is stalling once again.

The fact that Serg is just kinda floating around the edges is also disconcerting. He's also one of those players I can see scum pushing for a relatively easy lynch, and the fact that it isn't happening is weird.

I don't ever want to lynch WM. WM's miller claim likely comes from town and he's like the only person looking at this game with some semblance of sense. He also isn't afraid to take stances that are unpopular in the gamestate (ie his repeated votes on Fykus even though he can't get anyone to follow him there). I'm also leaning away from a HEM lynch. is stance on the PRs and inactives makes sense and has been remarkably consistent; I like that he's trying to look beyond the PRs and inactivies today in order to try to sort as many people as possible. He's, like, looking at the game practically and trying to utilize our time and lynches in the most efficient way possible instead of getting caught up in the PR/inactive thing.

chip has had pretty harsh interactions with many players in our POE: him and skitter are hard pushing each other; him and you had many unlikely scum on scum interactions; HEM seems to be fine lynching him this gameday and pushed him hard etc. I'm not reading into any push as 'impossibly scum on scum', but certain interactions are just very unlikely to be the case the way I'm reading the game. he really feels like a lone gunner here and not someone 'connected' in any way with any other player. I'll also townread him for how invested and excited he is with the game, which I'm guessing scum would more likely lose steam after a while. his logic for almost everything is alien to me, but that doesn't mean he is a wolf now does it.

yes. I'm building a wolf team. I'm dealing with an initial POE of everyone but WM and fykus, working it down to possible 3 player combinations based off their interactions, and then working it down to possible wolf teams that work together based off the individual scummyness of the players.

so for instance, if skitter is a wolf, I find it unlikely that BBT is one and got her at L-2 because he was 'voting just to get someone lynched' on d1. I worked a whole chart around these things. as the game is right now, I think the most likely team is skitter, misère and HEM. HEM has very strong pushes and interactions with almost every player in the game, except for sergtacos, thor, skitter and misère.

HEM's vote an 'L-1'ing skitter this gameday makes absolutely no sense as he claims he never read that slot! why would you vote someone without reading them and put them in L-1? and it was not L-1 at all, it was L-2. I'm half kidding with it. it's a team that makes a whole lot of sense to me and I spent many hours building it after interacting with you and mulch. I could be wrong certainly. I'm not capping skitter, fuck that. someone else does it and get the towncred for it, and then you can come here tomorrow and push obv scumaraga to oblivion.

yes here is my plan as last scum:

I'll bus skitter, she'll flip scum. then I'll bus misère, she'll flip scum. THEN, that's when the mislynch happens. I'll push HEM for it and get that lynch I really need to win this game. of course i'll have to work another 2 lynches and by then it'll be weird to have the odd night tracker claim just laying around, but those are details I'll work with later.

if mulch is scum I don't think misère is scum because I don't think mulch ever planned on bussing this game. I really don't wanna lynch misère.

I also probably don't wanna lynch BBT just because he was on the skitter wagon early d1 after she that Havo vote.

Tacos was one of the first ones to notice the skitter-havo vote and pushed her hard for it.
