I WOULD like to start off with a question for everyone here: do you think scum have Daychat? I'm doing this because when I'm scum I feel very awkward talking about whether I have Daychat or not when it's hidden from public info. It also reduces the chance of "townslip" that scum can manufactureu when say they act like no Daychat and then an encryptor flips. In addition, scum often like to not associate themselves in groups, so it should be interesting maybe later in the game to see how people respond.

For me, I DO think that scum have Daychat.

Well its WM's first game as a mod, and wm is always mafia and I assume he likes having mafia day chat so therefore I'm going to make the assumption that there is in fact a day chat for scum.

Sorry guys, ill try and post something worthwhile today after work. Finding it a little hard to find a "jumping off point"; this game is filled with so many people I look up to so its a bit overwhelming.

I was gonna make a readslist but realised that I can't read anybody in this damned game.

Heres a couple random thoughts floating round my head:

-Mulch's question about the scum day chat at the start of the game really derailed the game for a while, it could _possibly_ be some kind of scum tactic to take away focus from actual investigating, or maybe it was a genius town idea to see if anybody let on more than they should theoretically know. I've got no idea what to think about it. He could be scum or he could be town. I need more time to develop a read about on him.

-RC is being very RC'y in that I can't read shit about the slot. One thing that stood out to me was the accusation about someone (fire or tess) claiming a dayvig that never happened. Now in the few games I've seen scum RC I noticed that sometimes he'll make a blatant lie that goes unnoticed and causes someone to end up being lynched. At first glance I thought maybe that was what this was, but I think a few pages later it turned out to be a reaction test. I dont think RC would be that reckless as scum on day 1 though, so it doesnt help at all in forming a read on him yet.
Another strange thing is that he outed a neighborhood we apparently have plus 1 of its members and then subsequently someone else (eddie) outed themselves because of it aswell. The thing that gets me about it though is why would scum out the neighborhood in the general thread when they'd have just told their buddies in scum chat anyways? Were/are you fishing for some reactions to the revelation that there is a neighborhood in the game? Are you trying to shock any potential scum within the neighborhood to react or something? I'm not sure what the deal with it is, so I'm gonna need more time to read RC too.

-Boon is being boon. He's going through a whole range of emotions like he has in all the games I've played with him and since he says he manipulates his meta every game its impossible to know if its the town boon I've played with/against or a scum boon I've never seen before.

-Eddie is pretty much acting the same as I've seen him in a large normal before (I scum read him for acting like he does) where he was town, so maybe hes town here.

-Skitter is impossible to read like she is in every game (shes scum everytime i play with her though) so who knows.

Sorry for the shitty convoluted post but I'm just trying to get some content out there for you guys to peruse over to help sort my slot. I'll be sure to post some more if/when I manage to formulate some actual reads.

We know now that Mulch/RC are town, but at the time of your vote, why weren't you worried that at least one of RC/Vedith/Mulch were scum, especially since you said you can't even read RC/Mulch. Mulch even admitted that he was pocketing you . . . why weren't you worried about being pocketed by any of them?

Tbh I just woke up back then and I'm not on the state to play mafia but I did anyways, so I don't remember why I scumread Mulch that much.
I think I scumread Mulch because of him bringing up the day talk, which I think is scum trying not to look shady, but I realized that it should really be brought up as the mod kept it hidden.
My current read on Mulch right now is null, so I still need to figure things out. We're on page 3 and having a solid read is kinda hard right now.

There's probably some flaws in that that could have slipped through the cracks, but that was my general reasoning for voting each of them to see if I was wrong about them. I could be wrong on LUV/Fykus as a team, but there's not going to be a team outside of one of them plus another, so you are correct.

Technically, and combination of Una/Mumble/Skirt could have lynched LUV, there's the WIFOM case of possibly them not being around at the same time, but I think it's more likely that they just aren't any combination of scum.

If you think Fykus is the less dangerous scum, it still benefits us to lynch him today, due to this being MYLO.

Fykus - He'll get pushed by half the people then defended by half the people. He'll make a lot of posts that will come off as scummy, but he can end up obv towning. Discredit him before that happens, and just don't let him pick up steam in route to obv towning. You can jab at Fykus and he'll look scummier for it. When in doubt, scum read Fykus.
