While I'm curious about the a50 situation myself, I don't particularly like the last two votes here. Gamma stated his displeasure with it, which was fine, but after someone else voted he jumped on with no real issue? I don't believe the "benefit of the doubt" thing he said too much, either, considering that vanished once someone else put a vote on him. Darklight's vote seems even worse, since it's a very blatant bandwagon.

Assuming he's lying, wouldn't the no nk situation have the potential to resolve itself tonight anyways?

Then again, almost makes posts like this that seem like he wants to be suspicious...

Why don't you like her posts? I read your iso and you never really seemed to give a good reason for it. You pulled up three posts you didn't like of hers with no context or explanation and that was it, yet you still bring it up.

What makes you think the pop-in was intentional?

Skitter's hard town for me, Cheeky and Trivium also seem towny. I'm still not sure how to sort Almost, the frustration here feels genuine.

I don't really like Crocolisk's idea that scum go for the low hanging fruit, for a few reasons. While it's a perfectly usable strategy for scum, it also - as crocolisk sort of pointed out - looks bad if you start hard tunneling the LHF players. Of course, the LHF players could also just be scum, and there's a few other possibilities that pushes it into wine territory as opposed to just being as cut-and-dry as he thinks.

Robert's push on Cheeky wasn't great, and he seems to be dodging questions on why those three specific posts bug him. I might be missing something, but he seems to have vanished? Of course, that could just be the holiday season.

DDA and Gamma's posts also bug me a bit but those two are my most likely votes at the minute.

DDA is apparently a fusion of DDJ and DLA, I specifically meant DLA there. DLA's iso consists of mostly bandwagon votes and seemingly just trying to float by. The Almost vote was especially bad considering they admitted not knowing why Almost was being voted in the first place. Gamma's a gut read.

Also, I'm voting Robert.

Just a conversation piece here. But why is it in mafia games that a hammer to town looks any worse than the any of the other votes to get to a position to hammer. Is it just that stand out post that ends a day that brings all the eyes? I've never understood it this mind frame.

I think it's human nature to look at the person who hammered, since that person technically "did it" - they're the one that got whoever lynched. Other people on the wagon don't want blood on their hands when it goes south, which is why the hammer takes most of the attention.

As for why DLA specifically, he popped in to bandwagon Milk, then the next gameplay-related post was Thor voting Milk, his counterwagon. DLA instantly hops on the Thor wagon for Thor's post sounding "fake", and gets Thor lynched. The reasoning there was awful (what made Thor's post sound fake?), and the low time between DLA's two votes makes it seem like he never intended to seriously lynch Milk and just wanted Thor to post and then lynch that.

As I said, I'm overgamed. I'll still play but just not at the pace I was. My tone doesn't stay the same - I am all over the place as a player. It's ma thang.

Jokes aside, I would probably be using you noticing this to validate a read on you but I have nothing. What's with your tone shift/pick up in activity?

I never play early game but always pick up the pace as the game goes on. I normally don't play much of D2 either, but this is the only game that I'm in that is past day 1, so I'm sort of efforting it now.

Okay let’s not lynch me just yet.

First let me explain the hammer. I was away in a hut over New Years with lots of socialising and only phone WiFi in a small section of a staircase. This meant I had little to no time to read or do anything. As a result my actions were based on a rather rapid read. I didn’t actually realise I’d hammered until after others pointed this out.

I don't like this. Why would you vote for someone under these circumstances?

Because it was within an hour or so of the deadline and a lynch is infinitely better than no lynch. M

People are ignoring this and I don’t know if it’s wilfully or not.

Why would you vote Robert, then change your vote to Thor when both of them were at L-1 and Robert probably could've been hammered before the deadline?
