My apologies. I know I promised I'd catch up quickly, but I'm having a touch of a problem with my eyes. I WILL have an opinion tomorrow. Much quality reading for work at lunch.

Wow, I just read 56 pages of this game. My mind, she is blown. 56 pages of little to nothing.

I'd like to see more from Andrew, too. I know, it's not much, but... wow. That seemed like 56 pages of nothing but Tam and Stewie. For what it's worth, I believe that Tam and MMCL are probably town.

Dodgy seems... well... dodgy. I'm not sure I understand the bandwagon on Vraak.

I'm using the term bandwagon because of how quickly lynches happened on the first three days. Either way, could you explain your vote on Vraak? I mean, it's my understanding that he had posted that he'd be away on the vacation thread, and his apparent lurkiness was the reason for it. I'm assuming I'm wrong on this, so help me out?

Yeah, that name on the vote count does say jeep, doesn't it? I need to learn how to read.

Sooo... jeep, can you explain your vote on Vraak?

I'm not particularly suspicious of ANYONE, at the moment, I'm not sure I really understand everything that happened. I'm certainly not placing a vote until we hear more from everyone.

Okay, as it's been a number of days since any posts, I'm going to
vote: AndrewS
for the complete disinterst in playing the game- or seeming, anyway. I'm a little iffy on voting someone for lurking, I always have been, but as far as I can see, this is the best lead.

Sorry. Didn't realize it was so long between my posts.

I don't particularly like the idea of lynching someone to see what other's reactions are. Especially now, later in the game, doing that requires a LOT of mind-reading and that's not something I'm too comfortable with.

I think I'm most suspicious of Dodgy, too. jeep'll be taking that spot unless he explains what his vote... er... yesterday?... on Vraak was about. I find it a little scummy to place what seems, to me, to be a follower's vote and then disappear.

I don't believe Tam or MMCL are scum.

Those're my thoughts, at the moment.

Unvote: Jeep
I need to learn to read the vacation thread.

Okay, so now what? MMCL strikes me as town. If he's not, I'll be very surprised. IMO Vraak hasn't really done anything but lurk, and by that standard, EVERYONE should be suspect. My one major suspicion is gone.

We've gotta make something happen, here.

Nice of you to finish him off without having everyone weigh in on it, Dodgy. That's okay, because Tam's arguments were solid.

As for my quietness, MMCL, it's the weekend. I've actually been busy. Want a rundown of what I've done today, yesterday and Friday? Please? I like talking about myself.

Vote: Peacebringer

I'm not so sure, Vraak. Who says you had to have fabricated the whole PM? The worst you did in your life was get your husband angry at you- the PM never says that it WAS malaria. Only that he THOUGHT it was malaria.

I want to vote for Vraak, but as I believe we're in a lynch or lose position, I don't want to place a vote when I'll be unavailable for ten hours. Of course, I might be wrong about the lynch-or-lose scenario, given the setup, but I still don't want to take chances.

If we lynch the last scum on our next lynch, do we win? Or do we have to lynch two more before we find out?
I actually asked Yaw this last night. He didn't answer, so the fact is that we don't know. As we don't know, we may well be in a lynch-or-lose situation THIS LYNCH. I don't think so, personally, but there's no reason to rush this, in my opinion.

Drummer, to be perfectly honest, I didn't see any questions you issued to Vraak that didn't seem completely rhetorical (IE "Why on this green earth would I want to appear scummy?" or something along those lines). If there HAVE been questions issued to Vraak, I'm interested in the answer, too, but to be frank not even I saw them. Perhaps you could settle this by stating, very plainly, what the questions are?

I actually wasn't suspicious of you, Drummer, but now I am. You've said Vraak refuses to answer your questions. I didn't SEE any questions issued, so hey, maybe Vraak didn't, either. So I asked you, nicely, if you might post them clearly. My thought was that that way, he would HAVE to answer.

Not only did YOU ignore MY question, you then appeared to have taken back your assertion that you asked a question in the first place, instead saying your POINT was that there were contradictions in Vraak's posts.

Now I'm asking a question. WHAT CONTRADICTIONS? I honestly don't see them. See, I'm blonde. I'm stupid. Point them out. CLEARLY. So dumb people like me can understand.

For the record, I don't understand why you've got your knickers in a knot. It's a game. If you're really that upset with it, why not ask Yaw to replace you instead of asking us to lynch you when we might be in a lynch-or-lose position? That almost sounds like scum given up.

Just for clarification, since it's been brought to my attention that it could be misinterpreted- the possibility of a lynch or lose is my own pondering, NOT something Yaw told me. I have also been told, more or less, that my math IS wrong. So I'm a little more relaxed about this lynch.

I'd still rather not lynch quickly, thought. Not in my blood.

I KNOW I'm innocent, so I'd like to be in the final two- with MMCL. If I can't be in the final two, I think Town has the best chance with MMCL and Tam. Drummer I'm iffy on, and I'm fairly suspicious of both Vraak and Dodgy; although I can't offer any reasons for Dodgy, it's just a gut feeling.

So as it looks like I WON'T be in the final two, my votes go to MMCL and Tam.

I'm pretty confident that either Vraak or Dodgy is scum. If Tam or MMCL are, then I'll eat a hat, and I'm still in the air about drummer. So..

Oh, and Candice--If Tam or MMCL turn out to be scum, please post a pic of your meal in the general discussion.
You know I will. ;)

I say we get this show on the road. I think more or less everyone's in agreement... The question is who to start with. TEMPTED to say Dodgy, since there's already one vote on him (;)) but I think there needs to be a vote of some sort...

I don't mind being lynched, as I think we've got a good chance at catching scum. My goal isn't to be alive at the end of the game, it's for town to win. As such, if I'm believed to be one of the three scummiest players, go for it.

Don't expect my help, though. ;) I hate self-voting and I'm not about to start it.

Vraak and Dodgy still seem scummy to me. Maybe it's being irked by the self-voting, or maybe not. Notice how Dodgy votes himself then seems pretty passionate about defending himself? That stuck out to me. Hey, maybe Dodgy is town, that's how he plays and my scumdar is off.

I'm still more suspicious of Vraak, though. The case is pretty solid against him, so
Vote: Vraak
for reasons already discussed.

Vraak, you're not dead yet. :p

You might have addressed Tam's big post against you- whether or not I believed your defense is another story. Post-Spiritual-Grave FOS me all you want, Not-Yet-Lynched Vraak ;) I know I'm probably not going to survive to the end and that's fine with me, as long as we catch the last scum, as I said.

Yes, I know, Dodgy, there is only one scum left. That doesn't mean I can't see more than one person as scummy- ie possibly scum.

Here goes...

I wasn't convinced by Vraak's post on Tam. I wanted to wait and see what her reaction was, to see if it changed anything- it did not.

This whole game is confusing to me. My intuition says that scum's either Dodgy or Vraak, so unless something drastic happens, I'm going with my original suspicions.
Vote: Vraak
Sorry, dude.

"Tomorrow" I'm voting Dodgy. We'll see what happens for the third lynch.

This will be short, as I haven't been feeling well. I can give a rundown of what's going on if anyone doubts that.

MMCL: No, that he was the first vote on PB doesn't sway me. If I recall correctly, PB made a critical error, one that had him bagged almost right away. That was a typo in his role, if I recall correctly. What better way for Drummer to "prove" his innocence than to point it out and jump on him. Had I been scum and seen it (and I would not and did not see it- I'm a lousy proofreader) I would have jumped on it, too. That's my take on it.

I'll try to respond to Drummer's points one by one. Given my current condition, I will not be actually quoting things, I don't have the time or the energy to, but I don't want to hold up the game. Forgive me.

Re: "waiting"- that's my playing style. I'm a slow player. I like to wait and see what people's responses are. This is something that's consistent with almost all of my games, I feel if you were to look back on other games I was in, you'd see that I am VERY slow. I like discussion.

Re: My vote on PB. I knew he was lynched. I even added "for prosterity" or something like that to the vote. This was because I was a bit po'ed that the lynching vote was cast, I believe by Dodgy, without having heard from someone (I can't recall who it was at the time- hell, the vote might've come up while
I
was at work and I was pissy that I'd not been given a chance to weigh in. Because I'm narcisstic like that). All that was stated, in a nutshell, in the voting post.

Re: Vraak and Drummer's tiff.

Now here this. I did NOT get "my knickers in a knot." I issued, calmly, in my opinion, a question to you: What questions did you ask Vraak? I asked you to quote them, I believe, at one point, or restate your questions. You never did, unless I went selectively blind.

Quote the twisting I supposedly did. And, again, as it's a point of contention, quote your questions to Vraak.

I'll also note that after Drummer's "My point was-" post, I turned my attention back to Vraak. My suspicion was on Drummer for what I saw as histrionics. You might have been calm as day, Drummer, but you didn't appear so to me. Once you calmed down, I DID turn my suspicions away from you. In fact, I've made no qualms about saying that my vote on you has been an elimination one: My primary suspicions were Vraak and Dodgy, with you as the third candidate because I believe MMCL and Tam to be innocent and I know I am, and I don't vote people who I know are innocent.

This has NEVER been in question, and if you can quote me, AFTER my already stated suspicion occured, I will reiterate my offer to eat my hat.

If required/requested of me, a more thorough post with quotes will follow tomorrow night. As I said, I don't want to hold the game up, but simply don't have the energy for a full-out post. I'm sorry. :?

I guess I'll be eating that hat. I honestly don't know which of you are scum, but I've no doubt there's no way I'm getting out of this alive. I will make one plea for town, though: I'M NOT SCUM. I'm just praying that the one of who who is town believes me.

Well, I reread. I'm stumped. The only thing that really stood out to me was how MMCL waited until Tam voted to place his vote. I have a gut feeling that he would've voted me if Tam had. But there's absolutely no evidence that I can find that that's the case, and I am positively stumped as I really can't tell which one of you is scum.
