I know this is RVS and this isn't serious, but this is actually something that hits home pretty hard. I look Arab (I'm Armenian), and I've experienced a decent amount of anti-Arab hate/bigotry. Mostly it's getting pulled over all the time in airports for extra searching, but I've had people call me a dirty Muslim/terrorist to my face, and it really hurts. Even people doing shit like crossing the street when I walk by because I "look threatening" (read: Arab) stings.

So I'd really appreciate it if we didn't joke about stuff like this.

When someone with heat, who has been silent for a while, is called out and immediately pops in to say something like "choo choo. this is exciting" as a sarcastic defense, it shows they've been lurking and waiting for that "right moment" to derail the conversation. It also means they are Beetlejuice (because they come when they're called) and most likely scum.

I'm reading that second bolded section as being a conditional, ie, "if the daykill were from scum, scum would not claim it," which would naturally flow to "claimed, therefore daykill not from scum."
