Miller should play super-towny as possible (ideally VT play) so a cop doesn't investigate them. Balance should be made by the mod with it in mind that "cop could out itself with a guilty result on a towny." Anything else is simply discouraging good town play and allows scum to be more in control because "hey I'll just claim miller in case there's a cop in the game so they don't investigate me" and this makes play based on roles rather than on, you know, ACTUAL play and scumhunting.

btw you should all check out D1 of This game is for pieguyn to see how scum tends to think I'm an easy ML/LHF in the early game and how I'm able to pick out scum and vote them based on their desperate push on me and my ability to differentiate between a tunneling towny and a scum who needs to just commit to their push on me

how I felt about varsoon in that game is how I feel about RC in this game - a clear desperation of "damnit, I think this is our only chance to push through a ML so I've gotta stick with it" - they stuck with it and succeeded in that game and got my ML on D1, but only because deadline loomed and there were no other options did townies finally give in - of course then it really exposed varsoon+wisdom as being scumfucks
