wake, regarding ari, after i made the comment about having a gutread on him i couldnt really pick out anything from his iso to justify it. some of his engagements now feel kind of vapid for someone who i get the impression is not at all vapid, like 422. theres not much thought into it - just genuine interactions that he could easily have as scum (like... that doesnt make sense now that i put it to words but by "genuine interactions" i mean he would feel and interact with the thread the same way as scum or town). alone this would be nai but when an iso is devoid of scumhunting it's worth looking at.

i dont think DD's drixx push should be as townread as it is - dunks is from em and players there are really good at faking interactions like that (due to the way setups work there theyre more mechanically complex, and the real-time chat style favors emotional playstyles over analytical). together someone with that kind of background is likely to be able to come up with that thought process IMO. even if you dont have a lot of experience in mafia you absorb the tendencies of a homesite pretty quickly so i think he can fake it at even a surface level (which i think he did). i dont think theres anything wrong with inherently townreading it but i dont think it counterbalances the scumminess in his play so far

Yeah, I don't see that as a claim scum!Drixx would make it unless it was something that scum had a good reason to assume would make it a good tactical call to make (like a mod-provided fakeclaim or an interesting pr that gives insight into the setup). with the sk i dont see this as likely unless he's baiting shots there but that feels like a stretch to me (more than 2kpn average seems excessive to me). Without the claim he'd probably be in the third tier.

Usually my upper tier is reserved for ppl i have mechanical reasons to townread or very strong meta reads (like dunn)

Made the "bad posts tend to come from scum" comment, and I believe I commented on that. Could be wrong. I do not agree with that at all. I feel town make worse posts than scum typically do, especially if scum aren't under any sort of pressure. I actually don't feel Fame has been doing much but stating things that have already been said, actually. The SK comment they made was odd. They also said "generally town pushes on lynchbait", which kind of contradicts the whole "bad posts tend to come from scum" mindset, I feel. I did kind of like this reads list, because I get the BFI thing, but if BFI ended up being town, then this actually turns into a pretty scummy list, and it just comes off as town before flips. Dunker is mislynch bait. This is probably scum. I'm going to full on scum read here. I did this after I did BFI. I guess if Fame is a SK, then BFI could still be scum, but I don't think they'd be scum together. Call it gut, but I feel this slot makes sense as potentially setting up to control the game, and live to the long run at that.

So the misconception about my role being clearable came in how Titus worded my action - namely that she described the act of using it as "publishing a want ad". I was under the impression that it worked like Firebringer's role in Spring Fever in that the results were public. The day I started softing super hard to everyone, I asked Titus how my results would look. I noticed that they were heavily flavored, and since flavor = alignment in this game, that it would hardclear me as soon as my results were published. It wasn't until I told Maria directly that I would be cleared and asked her who the scum on the BFI wagon is/are did Titus directly PM me and say that I read my role PM wrong. There was actually a caveat that mentioned that only I saw my results I missed the first time I read my role PM. Shit happens I guess.

I didn't see the harm in claiming at first because if I were killed by scum, town would still get my results. Plus I figured any pressure off of me is pressure that's more likely to hit scum.

first off yes i did in fact make an error my first time claiming my results - was doing it from my phone and i had to switch tabs in incognito mode and my screen's already fucked and yeah who gives a shit. point is i wasnt thinking too hard and i forgot to mention dunn was visited twice, not once. just making it clear.

this makes me feel a little better about the setup/visits because i was worried we dont have a lot of VT/just town neighbor slots but this kind of clears things up for me.

i want to look at the ari/MBC dipole - namely i want reads from both and vedith's thought process in targets. both slots have been kind of lacking in content (ari more so) and with 2 scum and 1 sk we dont really have that much room for error (but we have a fuckton of info to work from with night actions)

So we're looking at a vig, Drixx, and three more visiting PRs. No way they're all town.

I think this shows that more than likely scum don't have a goon at all - they have 3 prs. There's also the possibility the SK has some PR of some sort but I'm not sure what'd be useful - a cop? I don't think any of the unclaimed visits make a lot of sense for a 3P's cop investigation though.

and yes this set up spec is useful to me.

I choose a player to target another player (both my choice) and they give them a normal role that isn't killing and not alignment indicated.
I can be the person receiving an item but not the one sending it.
I can also use my power plus any additional powers, and same for everyone else.

this is not a game to leash someone in, with only 13 people in the game there's almost no room for error. we were absolutely lucky with boon scumclaiming and the vig making a smart shot

if the vig scumreads dunk they're entitled to make that shot (and i strongly feel it's the correct shot).

if ari is truly a sk, then i dont really know what to say besides the fact he's entitled to an honorary win if town does in fact win. i strongly dislike SK as an alignment and think it's extremely unfun to play and legitimately sympathize with ari if he's in that position. readswise i agree that ari!sk means MBC is very likely town, the zach/maria/famethyst code thing should be resolved ASAP (is tomorrow too much to ask for...?) but i'm not the person who decides that (ari i'm still kind of shocked u havent figured out what the code means tho ur conclusion is a bit off to me). robb i feel is likely town by role and drixx has been fairly townie imo but im starting to lose certainty on this.
