yes. he said in that game that he fearkilled me. which means that he fears my towngame. assuming nothing has changed since then, and he still has the same thoughts on it, i highly doubt he enters this game with "actually datisi is scummy tho lol" because scum!him would KNOW i would become obvtown later on (he hasn't yet witnessed the scumlordtisi arc, i think), while town!him would absolutely poke me early if he thought i was being out of line

I'm not going to begrudge you having a gut read, but it struck me as a weird one to take when I saw nothing special in his play. It's good to hear you have a decent number of games at least. People say gut all the time, but there is often an actual thought there if you drill down far enough. Hell, even when I have gut reads, if I question myself enough and talk through it, I can usually get to what is pinging for me specifically.

I need to do some work now (and still somehow not caught up, agh), but I'll think about this some more and probs reread your town ping with the context of your past experiences.

I do like a lot of those reads but I think you could fake them. Which I know is probably unfair because by that standard it is very difficult for you to be towny but also like I don't want to townread scumtisi either so

My Datisi read I think is wrong for now and I'm gonna move my vote. Later stuff certainly appears to be working toward a solve. Page 28 interactions with FB aside but I thing ye all talked about that enough.
I thought also maybe skip and scamp had scum between them but then actually skitter's iso looked pretty good and I haven't looked at scamp properly yet.
HEMs early stuff I thought town and also VP but a few things struck me as off from both and I would like to look back properly at both.

A lot of these reads feel hedgey and I'm super unclear on your thought process. Like, what actually is your read on Datisi? Are you actually just townreading him for producing game relevant content or is there something more to it?

If you haven't done so yet I would also like to hear about your scumreads. I know it's unfair to expect a replacement to be like right on the ball immediately but a lot of this stuff is super vague and looks trivial to fake

I think I said elsewhere or so that datisi's iso looks like it's trying to advance the gamesstate and day one I think that's town. Do you think there's anything to be said of you reading my posts as being vague and expected or whatever for a replacement vs others saying I'm posting in a manner that sounds overly informed? Marci's iso doesn't read as trying to advance the gamestate, it's like performatively present with one liners and whatever. It doesn't strike me as town, it's more like a show of being present.

i think being 'informed' makes sense if it's in the sense, like, they don't think your reads are genuine? for my part I think your reads being super vague show a lack of like, curiousity I would expect from town.

also - what I'm trying to ask about Marci is like, how do you think she would play as town? do you think she wouldn't be using one liners as town? i don't feel like you answered what i was asking

Yeah I guess you're asking me more about marci as a person here rather than the generic player in the game and I don't know marci like that. I do t have a meta read or whatever, on most of the players here in fact, so I'm gonna deal with what's in front of me. And what's in front of me reads at best as a sort of vague indifference ranging to posting for the sake of being seen, and that just strikes me as anti town.

I know it's not a meta read. I guess what I'm getting is that Marci doing one liners seems pretty blatantly NAI for her - I really don't think anyone posts one liners specifically as scum only - and I find it difficult to believe it's a real read for you. I'm asking you to clarify why you believe Marci would play differently as town, even if you think she's behaving in an anti town way.
