I agree here. A lot of the time the reason people get lynched is because they care too much. I don't think you did it though.BabyJesus wrote:

The logic has become illogical.
Too much pro-town is bad and too little is also bad. What about in between?
That would mean you're acting normal and people will wonder, "Eh! He's way too normal to be innocent!"
No matter what you do, some will always be suspicous. Now is the time that we must choose between what is right, and what is easy.-

In reply to all the stuff on scum signs that I missed, a scum could try to be obvious just as easily as he could silent. So it's impossible to tell unless they say something very unique that points toward scum. Or some detective comes up with something.
Yeah, could we get a vote count please?d8P wrote:modCould we get a vote count though? Now is the time that we must choose between what is right, and what is easy.-

I see your point. I'm going back to my old vote.Illumina wrote:zu_Faul, how did I not address his points...?
And Gonzo - people are saying I'm scummy because a townie doesn't analyze his actions in order to justify them. But anyone and everyone obviously does this when they're providing a defense for themselves. Just about everything I've said so far has been in response to suspicion.
How would you or another townie act any differently in my place?

There is no reason at ALL to act suspsious. This was once my stratedgy at the very beginning when I began playing mafia-like games, but then I learned it was completly stupid.
I have a comment concerning Illumnia. I find two different accusations of her that seem to be conflicting. We go from a Newbie Illumnia that choose a role from the Wikipedia to ahighly intelligent Illumnia that is really a godfather who sneakily choose a role that has the abilities of a godfather. ... What do others think of that?

Sigh... How do we know the mafia even went for you? We don't.Illumina wrote:Gonzo: Interesting. You went from voting for me to actually defending me on day one, and you ended the day not voting for me. I claimed the cowardly reporter, and because I didn't die (as I claimed would be the case), you suddenly suspect me? What's changed since then? That doesn't add up.
FOSGonzo, until he adequately explains himself.
Of the three people Flying Dutchman mentioned, you made the most sense. Can you prove that you are not the godfather? If you can give me a very logical explaination of why you aren't, I'll believe you.

Good points, yes. I do realize that I've been very inconsistant through this whole game. You're right to be suspicious of me.Illumina wrote:Two major things, Gonzo: You were fine not voting for me yesterday (both before and after I revealed my role, during a huge bandwagon) [and also] when I said I wouldn't die, and now you go back to suspecting me because of what one person said. That seems like a pretty big inconsistancy, which is why I'm suspicious.
Oh! my bad. I wasn't aware that we used a Vigilante. Sorry.Illumina wrote:Also, most importantly, I didn't survive because the mafia failed to kill me - we were having a vig test the veracity of my claim. Was that an innocent typo, or were you not aware of that play?
Btw, I haven't voted officially for you, so I'll just leave it at that. Now is the time that we must choose between what is right, and what is easy.-

Oh, yeah... I should probably reply to this. You have good points, if they were made about someone else, I would probably follow your lead.Illumina wrote:I'm not entirely sure whether Gonzo was trying to hide anything or was just unaware. He does have the tendency to switch gears at the drop of a hat, and has suggested that he's still learning how to pick up scumminess - his behavior matches someone that's new to the game, though it could be the ploy of an experienced player. Judging by his total time here (postcount of ~30), I'm thinking it's the former.
Being a new player doesn't preclude him from being mafia, obviously, but his forgetting we were vig-testing me may have been an honest mistake.
Because I'm curious, though, I'm going to put some pressure on him for now.
Vote Gonzo
I've been very unpredictable, yes. This blurs all signs of what role I play. Though it does has its bad points if I'm scum.
I might point out that how long I have been on MafiaScum, has nothing to do with my experience. But you could be right there.
Yes, now that is the final question. Am I an experienced player? Am I still learning? Or am I just having fun?
My behavior could mean anything. Now is the time that we must choose between what is right, and what is easy.-

I'll justVote No Lynch
I have no clue who it is and I don't want to join any bandwagons.
And to those of you who still wish to kill me, I'd like to make a motion at the bloodthirsty nature.
And now for the news that theModshould read.
I'll be on vacation for 10 days following the 18th, so someone should probably replace me.
Merry Christmas to you all! And try not to lynch anyone on Christmas. Now is the time that we must choose between what is right, and what is easy.
