My read on ConSpiracy as of his post is pretty much the same. It's lampshading Lowell's lurker status and frequently replacing out tendency, but could also be an attempt to policy lynch him.
So, slightly more town, but not entirely.

I said five scum, right? Well, one of these Not Voting people is scum. Tajun's scum on Zombeh. Nero's scum on the two (2) voters, and the other three present are town. So that's 2 scum for sure.
There's two to three more. Which means 1-2 in the (1) voters, and 1-2 in Not Voting. Since there's eight (1) wagons, my money's on two in there. I have Mist (3/4-5), and semi-Zombeh (SK), but I still need one more. Also, I need to find the scum in Not Voting.

Oh god the typical condescending attitude in this game. So helpful, I'm loving the activity.

I seem to recall this being a little bit hypocritical.

Quite honestly, I skimmed. My first thought was scum, for voting Lowell while calling out the policy wagon, but he unvoted and after that I thought, "oh, nevermind; he's town". (Though I must admit, it's mainly 'cause I'm thinking "He's Mastin." )

Though Doug missed the unvote, he beat me to the punch on the main issue which I saw from Alabaska's post, so he's town.

So it's pretty clear I can't be correct about all five of my scumreads, given how 4/5 are on the fifth.

And no scumteam busses their scumbuddy *that* hardly, while putting all of their cards on the line.

So, somewhere I went wrong.

Nero and Mist are both scum, yes.

But that means there's a maximum of onw scum in {Tajun, Furcolow, Sampson} and that the other two must be town.

Which means I need to reread the game.

Skimming Furcolow's ISO, there are actually quite a few places in Mirror Mafia where he wasn't posting walls, but a lot of his posts WERE walls, and impressive ones at that.

In THIS game, however, his most impressive walls are 209, iso 14 and 166 iso 5, which mainly gets its length from the nested quote and would otherwise be no more than a paragraph long.

It still looks like scum. But meta alone shouldn't be enough, right now. I need to check his interactions again. I remember that they fit beautifully into the scumteam, so I'll need to take another look at it to make sure of it.

Amrun's been town due to interactions with Nero/Mist, which is the same reason Kiwi's been town. (These warrant another look. Make sure it doesn't come off as bussing and that they are, indeed, town.)

Bogre was town for some reason I posted about, so I'll need to review that.

Same for Isa; Isa was town for some reason I posted about which I can't recall off the top of my head.

I'm not convinced that's the right answer.

But it is a possibility I need to account for.

Suggests that ConSpiracy/Kiwi might contain one scum. Their early posts are pretty similar, but I had a clear Kiwi scumread, so I'd lean that way.


What was my read on this post again? I can't make up my mind. One minute, I say null. Next, I say scum. But regardless, I'm not moving north of the nullline on this one.

I stand by my gut town read here on SV. Additionally, there's his Mist vote. That's always pro-town.

And reading this, it doesn't seem as town. Defends Zombeh (he can do that himself), defends Amrun (she had already done that herself), casts a vote not as scumhunting, but to tell him to stop.

It actually comes across as a severe Amrun buddy, when I look at it and its followthrough.

I don't take any tells from RVS except VCA to use later in the game.

Ironically enough, it is RVS VCA which is putting Kiwi under the spotlight again.

On another note, ISA:

The first thing you do is go out of your way to say that you have a townread on Amrum, and then vote for Pine who is attacking Amrum. Then you go at him and flat out tell him to drop that case. It's RVS, of course a case isn't going to be valid. It's not like with page 1 we actually have anything to work with.

Both Kiwi and Isa can't be scum, but I'm beginning to think one of them is.

@ ConSpiracy: Your only reason for voting Amrum is that you 'love his defense', which is obvious sarcasm since you voted him. Why not question him further, or question Isa for defending Amrum, or even say why you 'love' his defense? Why not back up your vote?

Ironic, that Kiwi says this while...voting ConSpiracy and using this as the only thing to keep it backed up.

Mist posts this piece of fluff. There's nothing productive in there. Just Amrun-smashing (which itself is pretty hypocritical, given her apparent hatred of condescending attitudes) which leads absolutely nowhere. No Amrun suspicion, no conclusion, she even SAYS to move on from there.

The two 1V1ing each other distracts the town from their powerful role (Nero Cain), focusing attention purely on this guaranteed good trade. It also leaves the door wide open for bussing, allowing scumbuddies to more easily hide and pick a side in this fight.

One of them is lynched. Flips Mafia Goon, with a very slight chance of Mafia Godfather.

The other (especially in the latter) becomes instantly-clear due to the circumstances, and town leaves them alone. Better yet, since they're bulletproof, that explains why the scum aren't killing the "confirmed town"!

Why on earth would scum CC a bulletproof claim they knew was town, when said player was recieving heavy flak from their claim already and very possibly would be lynched without interference? They wouldn't, so that scenario is impossible.

Granted, this one is more likely than the first (as there are some really stupid town players), but any intelligent player knows not to immediately counterclaim scum claiming their role when said scum is already being lynched for it.

I've been making a post for the past three hours now, which explains my lurkingdome, and I'm only half way through. I'm trying to pay attention to the minor details as well, and I'll trim it up tomorrow. I know I said I would vote/ post tonight, but the post is at least making progress, so I'll post it tomorrow. Sorry guys, but from reading the past few posts from MB, they do seem genuine to me, though I haven't read anything that lead up to this. It's just so much different than her original: blahIdon'tcareI'mnotansweringanything attitude she held in the first 10 pages. Seems like she's actually trying to scum-hunt now, but that's just my opinion. Don't know if it counts for much or not, but my two cents.

Actually, MacDougall is mainly scum simply by process of elimination.

I've eliminated all other candidates, for varying degrees of reasons pretty much. There is a little suggesting Doug is scum, but it's admittedly not much and there's at least an equal amount suggesting Doug is town.

It's just that "null overall" when compared to, say, bv, sorgster/Smash Bros, Pine, etc. is still the bottom of the list.
