This is getting too long to put in a haiku. Corsato is usually a very active member, and seeing him post little in this game raised my suspicion. I know he posted just before I posted the post before my anti-lurk post (see why this does not fit in a haiku?), but I'm talking about the whole game. Later I'll go and check his total number of posts in this game. Meanwhile, I agree that mathcam quickly hopping on is strange. Then again, frogs hop (groan).

I really do not understand why people think that mafia can't be played without a cop. What do you do in a game with a cop and the cop gets killed night 1? Thrown up your hands in the air and surrender?

Vanilla mafia is all about analyses of posts and voting behaviour and night choices. That's why lurkers are deadly for the game and should be eradicated. Often they are scum, because the scum also knows that in absence of a cop only their posts can betray them.

I say we lynch UT. In the best case he was lurking trying to avoid exposure. In the worst case, he has just as much chance of being scum as any other random choice.

Well, I have finally re-read the whole thread. No new insights though. Compliments to the scum, although the town as a whole has not been very helpful. Missing a lynching opportunity, and allowing non-posters to stay in the game for a long time is bad tactics.

Second, the reason I gave for you being suspicious was "your reaction to votes", which seems to me like a fairly good reason for being suspicious of someone.

Yes, but what the heck was suspicious about my reactions? I got voted because I know SK. Wow. I countered that. The other accusation was so broadly defined that as I said in reply that all bases had already been covered, so there was no "defense" against that. I don't think you can dismiss my reaction as a "shrug".

Third, the reason I posted it as "a choice between DP and Dasquian" is because you two are on the hotseat. Of course there are other choices, including myself. But you two are the ones the town is looking at. As I said before, if someone can come up with something suspicious about someone else, (yes, including Nanook, your only suspicion of him is that he voted you) I will think about it.

My objection ist that you take the easy way out and attempt to increase the fire under what you term the hotseats for what I consider to be no good reason. It is also a classical scum move to suggest things like this "we have to choose..." without actually making the choice, in order to keep your options open.

You might want to read Werebear's post 517, in which I came out as a major suspect for being 2nd or 3d on the bandwagons. But then again, so did you, so I understand why you want to draw attention to me.

I've come in a large number of times as replacement the last few years, and I don't think there's a tendency that scum roles get replaced less often.

Why would the scum eliminate Nanook, who has been on the scum radar of some of us (certainly mine), and leave Dasquian alone? Dasquian has received little attention in terms of accusations I think.

It could be a trap, but the famous razor suggests that it is because Dasquian is one of the two remainig scum.

I was still gambling on mathcam being scum. And I was afraid of the following scenario: If I had NOT voted Mathcam, and someone else would, then what would happen after we find out he's scum? The remaining scum can easily finger me and say: look, all words, but in the end he did not vote mathcam. It was all comedy. Lynch the bastard! (I could actually see Ben post this in the way I looked at the game).
