^This. Who has a confident scum read on page 3?
It feels like derailment tactic if anything
If you think this why didn't you say anything before Dunnstral posted?

Because I hadn't really thought on a deeper level about the connection between the posts until dunn brought it up? Sometimes you don't really think about things until someone points them out
But your defensiveness to the suggestion is pretty suspicious
This isn't about thinking on a deeper level though; it's a very simple concept as far as I can tell. I asked you how confident you were about your read, and by asking you that I was undermining your read on Fuscosco by making you admit you're not confident. Thinking about it deeply should probably lead to the realization that I have no reason to do this because it's already clear you're not all that confident and I was voting Fuscosco myself at the time, not to mention I wouldn't really gain anything by obstructing an early push, even if I was buddies with Fuscosco.
Defensiveness being scummy is a strange concept to me. Why shouldn't I defend myself?
I feel like the wilky/sabrina issue would probably be better resolved privately rather than in the game thread.
In post 326, Ausuka wrote:the gamma wagon is confusing; i understand that it's a way to get the game started but i'd think it would be more prudent to vote for me or light or vedith rather than gamma.
i actually don't think anyone voting me is scummy yet; there's probably 1-2 scum in players like enigma, clemency, elsa, ofrhz? who feel kind of like they're holding back. there are a lot of nully people in general.
good commentary. can you give me a read now tho?
i was prodded and had to post something. i've already given plenty of reads up to this point and i don't think this is a genuine angle
In post 198, Fuscosco wrote:stop. we should focus not on these little jokes but on the game.
Ignore the follow ups to my vote on ausuka. Focus on that. was her vote good? was my response good?
is my vote on light good? Lets all make 2 competing wagons. Mine's better, go!

In post 282, Fuscosco wrote:enh ausuka is an alright wagon. What do you have against progress?
This is a really weird progression. Also doesn't seem to be game solving, more like just commenting, which gives scumpoints on both metrics I pointed out earlier.
I'm getting too many scumreads. The game has too little content.
Davesaz townlean. I had this same observation about fuscosco, and during my read through, I also had the same feeling where I felt like there were too many scummy people at this point in the game.
Sabrina wanting Thomas gone, is rather obvious. Evil often likes to be sneaky. That's not sneaky.
This is a good point, although towns should be doing more than giving absolutely no other reads except that they want me dead regardless of alignment.
Given that she's a rather new player, I will give her more room, but I hope she starts trying to solve rest of the game because there is certainly more than 1 scum in the game.
However, this post kinda gives you, yourself, townie points so props
I am nobody's boss. I just own players like you who never generate content. Call me daddy
Okay Mommy. I'm sorry Mommy. Don't spank me Mommy.
explain your enigma vote
DT towny. I originally voted this slot, because his predecessor was tonally awkward and unnecessarily self conscious. But maybe that was just newb awkwardness because I can see genuine sorting here, and I like his push on Elsa. There are some dumb things that he says like "I'm locktown for spamming" and not reading the game, but in my experience, those aren't necessarily scum indicative for him.

Out of touch with the modern era.
Elsa scumlean. I don't like him moving his vote off of a serious wagon to a joke vote or his enigma vote. If this ISO belonged to anyone else, this would probably be an outright scumread.

We can all focus more properly when we don't have an arrogant jerk breathing down our necks.
I legit think town has a better chance of winning with him gone than with him here regardless of alignment
Sabrina scumlean. I don't like her trajectory; she went from scumreading DT for trying to seem towny but in 440, her push sounds more like a PL and it doesn't sound like she's scumreading him. I don't see that much sorting from this slot otherwise.
In post 399, Ausuka wrote:to those asking about my line about the gamma wagon; it generally seems like it would be a good idea to build on what we have, even if people are just pretending to actually believe it, then build a wagon that explicitly is not on a scumread because i think the first one would cause more pressure and cause the game to get started a lot faster. if there's a case on gamma that i missed i'd be wrong but i don't think there is one.
@enigma; those players are holding back in terms of content; it's certainly possible some of you are busy irl but we can't just assume that as an excuse for giving no content, i think.
You think then that Gamma has been explicitly said to not be a scum read? What else is there to build on? Why is pushing a Gamma wagon with little reads any different than "
building on what we have, even if people are just pretending to actually believe it
In post 400, davesaz wrote:My Gamma read is precisely about holding back on content. Why is it better to vote a shorter wagon than a longer wagon in that case?
I don't disagree on some of the others you mentioned having low content.
Are any of the people you suggested wagoning scummy to you? You even included yourself in that list. It sounded to me like it was an "anyone but Gamma" type list which seems strange at this point in the game.
in that case, i misinterpreted the situation, sorry.
I think light is scummy, vedith isn't really and obviously not myself. the reason i said that was because i saw people suggesting the gamma wagon was the best way to get the game going, but I think that building on what was posted before and joining a wagon with more stated reasons would be more likely to trigger events.
Do you just think Light is scummy based on the shakiness around the Fuscosco vote?
In post 418, StarwingBeauvoi wrote:They say Ausuka is defensive, but why?
Well maybe one or twice,
But not more than some others.
If Ausuka was defensive in post 137,
So was Light in post 130
Perhaps.
Neither had much bad to defend. They can both defend rightly.
Light in post 138 makes a defense of a sort
And in answers to Ausuka's post 153, I say that we are not as all effective as we wish to be.
It might be better to sound certain when doing pressure, but dithering is not inherently a sign of evil.
If anyone really wishes to call Ausuka defensive, post 398 is a deflection.
Ausuka has shared some opinions, but many reads?
Few of us have many reads.

In post 778, Elsa Jay wrote:Why would I out anything elsa at this point to scum? I'm already as screwed by claiming so early.
So I've essentially offered you an opportunity to confirm yourself as town, outside of any roleblock or nightkill mechanic. I said I would self-hammer if you are able to confirm yourself outside of a roleblock event due to having multiple shots and my watcher value on you is then pointless.
By your reasoning should be a win-win for you - you aren't screwed by having to claim because there is still the opportunity to use your role (and scum can't kill/rb you) or if you are only indeed single shot then I would self-hammer and would flip scum according to your beliefs.
1. Why haven't you even considered this or responded to my offer?
2. Why did you feel the need to crumb your role at a time when you were in no danger of being lynched, and your night actions could essentially confirm that role?
In post 904, Dunnstral wrote:So every person we run up is going to claim something that makes us want to lynch someone else
Exactly what I meant about this turning into an inadvertent massclaim. The implications of which are probably not in our favour at this stage. We could run up ten players but then we're just giving scum the pick of which role they'd most like to get rid of
