My response was the post talking about a 50/50 decision.

In writing out a response to Miss Lynch (below), I'd now like to add the possibility of cult initiating the attack on the red-haired elf (RHE). If this is the case, they'll probably recruit the RHE tonight.

My intuition is saying that RHE should remain quiet unless they're a leading wagon rn.

Asking red haired elf to claim is like outing IC. The very small information advantage town has over scum should stay that way until a good opportunity presents itself.

I don't think is is accurate.

As I mentioned earlier, there's a chance that scum already knows who the red-haired elf (RHE) is, which puts town at a greater information disparity than normal. Having the RHE reveal would solve that information disparity.

BUT there's a chance that cult or a 3p attacked the RHE, which means scum doesn't know who the RHE is yet. In this case, it's probably better for the RHE to stay silent.

Problem with this is that the red head elf loses status if they wait on claiming. The likelihood of them being culted goes way up tonight and them outing later doesn't have any impact. It's just a flavor claim at that point but there's no way to treat them as a clear.

@Ceph I highly doubt RCE is scum. His attempted but blocked message to Mena N1 was corroborated by the flavour. The powerful woman mentioned at the beginning of N2 seems to be the same person (ie. RCE), and she's treated as a person loyal to the town.

I'm not sure what happened with the bodyguard/guard preventing the character from going out on N2, but it seems pretty towny to me.

I imagine the N3 flavour will be consistent with what we've seen in the previous two nights.

From the wiki description, the nexus role is opposite of lightning rod with random targets. Instead of drawing roles to it, it pushes them away. Some role targets the nexus, that action is randomly redirected to another player. Multiple actions -> multiple retargets, each random. Since the targeting is random, the expected result of including such a role is chaos.

I agree with A50 that it should be impossible to get an investigative result. What's being missed is that the investigation would be redirected so the result is on a random player.
In the case of the nexus claim being true, it proves the existence of a SK role but doesn't identify who.

There's a specific reason I would like you to write about ML + it's more about clearing you than ML. Pisskop is an okayish alternative, but it won't allow us to gain as much information about you.

UT isn't rly cleared yet. Sending to anyone in my list is pretty much sending to semi-conf or conf!town. Given the chances of cult recruiting, the list is almost all confirmed to be not scum.

Targeting ML and giving the msg to a townie person will show us that you didn't lie about your role. If the message contains negative information about ML, then we'll know you're telling the truth.
