Like, if I had posted first in the gae thread and nobody else had posted yet, then I'd have had 100% of the posts (by players) in the thread, and infinity as much as anyone else! Last night as I logged off I had more than twice as many posts as the 2nd highest poster (I had 40 and someone had like 17). Today the gap has narrowed down to a mere fraction of that (I am neither 23 posts more tha the 2nd highest poster not do I hold the same percentage). In 48 hours (or less) I strongly suspect that I won't even be the highest poster of the game. (Nancy will probably take over, and you may too).

So, to put things into proper perspective, Aaron's statement -while true at the time- was still fluff, as it served no purpose at all, and it was at a precise time that was too early to even consider. Like where is Karnage? (Probably doesn't even know the game had started. His last public post on the forum was made more than 48 hours ago). Amrun too (last post more than 36 hours ago, and hasn't posted in here either). There are 6 ,ore slots that have posted less than the Mod did as we speak. Why can't we agree to pursue those instead of hunting for the highest poster for the time being? We can always reevaluate in 72 more hours. Yes? Also, by then the post count/percentage may have changed drastically AND may be considered a better indicator of who is spamming, who is lurking, who is being open and who is fencing. can we agree to that for now?

How else do you think I can confirm a role exists? but to be precise I will reiterate: I die targeting Scum. I asked about the wording of the PM and the mod elaborated that I also die targeting Scum or

. That was quite the hint there was a Miller in play. So, I came in and read the thrad and while catching up I saw said Miller had already claimed (as they usually should to avoid shinanigans) so U confirmed knowledge of the role existence.

Do I need to explain that I have a WEAK modifier or is it clear enough by now? I may let you know whom I'm targeting if I can, but I'm undecided on a target and even more skeptical about announcing my target outright in case scum decide to shoot there.

I thinl my best strategy is to target questionable slots that make fairy less than optimal kill targets. That way if scum decide to shoot my target they are killing someone they shouldn't have. But that also makes me less useful regarding the stronger players.

Note: The way Boon responded does not necessarily confirm there IS an investigative. "What would return a guilty" could be assumed to mean "IF there was an investigative" just as much as it could mean "to an existing investigative". However, it did strongly indicate a Muller is out there. I could also stretch my neck out and suggest there is NO Godfather based on that same convesration, but let's not jump the gun already. What I do know is a Miller does exist.

And it just hit me that if a GS is in play then there is definitely NO COP (because a Cop would be a Miller to the GS, regardless of how absurd it would be to have both roles in a 20-players setup). The Mafia may have a Doctor though (that would be a GF to the GS). But I do NOT know that there is/isn't a GS to begin with.

Also, if there's a Tracker, they can verify whom I visit without me having to announce them before hand. Then again, we don't know if there is one, and even if there is they should NOT even hint or crumb at this time, somit's just a useless idea.

I thought it was self-explanatory. X is not scum with any of A/B/C/D/E. We lynch X and if they flip red then A/B/C/D/E are all cleared. If they flip green then nothing has changed regarding A/B/C/D/E. What we don't do is lynch A/B/C/D/E in hopes to find a red flip between them to clear X, and if none was found then we eventually lynch X after 5 fucking mislynches for no reason but to kill the game pace (which is already below standard volume for a game this size, btw).

A/B/C/D/E are the hydras (4-5 depends on whether you count my slot as a hydra), and X is obviously the slot calling for their lynch. Guess who that is.

Not "exactly" but -generally speaking- yes. You see, the wording in my PM suggests my action will only succeed id I target someone who returns the result of "Evil Magical Disguise Lord of the Boonski’i". So, if we assume no 3P in play then I'm Disloyal. If there are 3P roles though, my action will still fail. Think of me as a specific alignment Cop, in a way. I can only target "Evil Magical Disguise Lord of the Boonski’i" aligned players, specifically. (I guess that's the difference between Desperate and Disloyal?)

Miller doesn't count as 3p right? But being desperate you can't target them A50?

Miller is TOWN ALIGNED, but then they RETURN A GUILTY TO A COP, so

they are treated as if they were aligned with the group Scum faction.

First mention tells you I confirmed there is a Miller, Second mention is my claim. So chkflip claimed and I confirmed his claim and then claimed myself.

I’m not sure exactly because he didn’t explicitly say but he claims a miller is confirmed to be in the setup but I’m probably not explaining this very well.

Here's how it went: I read my role PM and noticed my action "fails" if I', targeting someone not aligned with the group Scum. I also noticed my shot gets refunded "if my action doesn't go through", so I ask (myself first and then the mod) what's the difference between fail and doesn't do through? Or are they the same thing?

So he says it's basically the same, but it could also be blocked or I'm targeting and Ascetic in theory. So that means (this is me interpreting it) my action fails if I do not successfully visit Scum for any given reason, and not necessarily because I hit a townie. Then he was kind enough to reiterate that Desperate means I can only hit scum or what "returns a scum result" (paraphrased), at which point I deduced there had to be a Miller for that specific phrasing to be used (when it was not in my original role PM).

So I came to the thread expecting to see a Miller claim sooner than later (because that's the optimal play for a Miller), and I did.

If you look closer there a hint that there "might" be a Scum RB out there, but maybe not. It's a 50-50 IMHO judging by how it was phrased. But the Miller thing was like 90% in my mind when I read the mod's response to my question, so that was the main point on my mind when I came into the thread.

PS: I'm trying to catchup from like the beginning. Been busy during the holidays. That wagon on RCE had alot of sheepy votes. Not sure why RCE felt that most of them were towny.
