Ten-Hut

At Ease.

We are about to begin the battle for animal town. Many of you lesser animals might die but through your sacrifice, we will be victorious! We are going to hit the enemy hard and fast. report here tomorrow at 1400 hours for your first target and may Mith have mercy on their souls.

DISMISSED
Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. I still think this is a bit fake-sounding. I mean would she be worried that an anti-town faction would have a public recruit option or that Pooky would name all his recruits?

Also, she's doing this kinda weird thing where she assumes that the cats are the scum team just b/c the name is "dogs vs. cats" but many of you have said you are other animals and the town pm lists threasts as our enemy. Am I just overthinking this?

I could see this from both POVs. Like its kinda surface level to go "oh you contradicted yourself so you must be scum!" and I could see town do that but on the flip side it's something easy scum can pounce on.

That's actually a decent reason to get rid of you. if you were town fluff posting and inflating the page counts helps scum by giving them room to hide and creates town apathy and lets scum skate.

but then I'm not too sure about you being town anyways.

not really sure if I like a 2017 pretending like they don't have a clue. Normally its 5 scum in a 21 player so @ 24 we have 3 leftovers so I'd guess atleast 6 or 7. kdowns theory on it being MB and the scum teams are the dogs and cats seems reasonable too.

like I know I'm tunneling a bit but Andate having a bunch of town reads and 1 scum lean as her strongest reads feels off. It's also lacking the guy she's supposedly scumreading.

Kazyan's xofelf vote in feels very go with the flow. The reasoning seems very weak.

I understand the reason for his list in and he's sorta just calling one of himself, beeboy or cakez scum.

I however do not understand the point of the list in , I stand by my belief that it is IIOA. Information instead of analysis.

he's not very towny.

In post 995, unwnd wrote:She posts a lot and doesn't explain herself. Okay?
Explaining yourself and trying to get town to achieve its goals is just pro-town play. ofc this feeds into your "Nero sees the game a certain way and those that don't conform he thinks are bad actors." And sure. Her calling kdowns scum but not really explaining why or trying to convince people she's right just looks bad to me. I think her xofelf reasoning is poor and possibly made up. And her not reacting to the mini-case I put on her seems bad as well and when I asked why she didn't respond to it she didn't respond.

Now I have come to realize that people like "fun". shit/fluff posting and being social although the fun for me is actually just playing the game, I may even be somewhat of a hypocrite b/c I do make jokes and troll posts every once in a while but I'm not excessive with it.

I'm just old and grumpy so I'm prone to scumread ISO's that are mostly fluff posting b/c I don't think its benefits the town as much and is helpful for the scum team.

I think the way the game is played today is that it's mostly suicide to defend your buddies though it prob does happen. I mean sure if Dante flips scum it could just mean you are uninformed town but it's not
impossible
that you'd defend her either, especially if she has a good role. I feel like your "beware of the bussers!" is kinda muddying the waters a bit. Also if this is indeed MB you could be scum that's defending scum from the other team.

I would like to formally announce that your general is forming a new alliance. This isn't your racist rat or dog federation that only allows a certain species in. Here at Animals for the Defense of Animal town or ADAT we welcome all creatures.

will you join me cakez and dwelee?
Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

tbf, asking for votes so she can go ahead and claim a pr and wiggle out of a d1 lynch isn't very townie. At least that's the impression I get when she asks for more votes on her.

Andante could normally be lynchbait but sometimes lynchbait just gets sent a scum pm. And I also think that calling some lynchbait would be a p good way to defend them. If andante is scum I could imagine that the following conversation went down in the scum pt.

Andante: shit I rolled scum. What do I do?!?
her scumbuddies: that's ok, just play up your lynchability.

What to do with lurkers is a tough subject. In a way, they make the best cop checks b/c if they are green then you can eliminate a scummy suspect from your solve and force scum to nk them. They make good pushes/scapegoats as scum b/c they are legit "scummy" and I'm a little worried that Bee is a scum push to save Andante. Bee is about to hit his prod timer. If he just comes in here and makes some useless post then yeah maybe we just oughta lynch him but if he gets prodded and then replaced...I just have no interest in a Bee wagon before he gets prodded. We can revisit this after he gets prodded and see what happens.

I also reject the idea that we'd get more information from a Bee flip than an Andante flip.

these just felt like things scum would say. like 60 seems like them fishing for town cred. its like "lookI'm sooo one f you guy!" and 114 is talking down to me.
In post 239, Andante wrote:you're recruiting me?? to which side?
I still think this is a bit fake-sounding. I mean would she be worried that an anti-town faction would have a public recruit option or that Pooky would name all his recruits?

Also, she's doing this kinda weird thing where she assumes that the cats are the scum team just b/c the name is "dogs vs. cats" but many of you have said you are other animals and the town pm lists threasts as our enemy. Am I just overthinking this?
I kinda have this belief that scum (especially newb scum) will like not react to certain posts b/c what happens is once they react and there's a back and forth it becomes bigger and shines a spotlight on them. I've asked her twice why she hasn't reacted to my initial case and she didn't even respond to that. She seems scared and I think newb scum might be scared of me.

In post 869, Andante wrote:oh and firebringer town, xolfelf town
I didn't really like how she has mostly town reads b/c its
INCREDIBLY
easy for scum to call players town b/c scum already knows who is town/not on thier team. It also kinda buddys them up and incriminates them a lil when scum flips. It seemed odd to me that it was lacking kdowns as thats whom she was pushing or at least voting. Did she ever mention flow at any point before this?

Also I just feel like alot of her posts are cringe.

pookythemagicalbear
Beeboy (maybe)
Kazyan
Andante
flow trap
Ivyeo
unwnd
firebringer???

I feel like this is where I might want to lynch from today.

Farkran
Brave Heart Lion

I'm someone skeptical of these two for maybe a silly reason. Like I know I'm being full of myself and all here but I think I'm a decent contender for a nightkill and these two not really mentioning me feels like scum that are planning on nking me.

regarding beeboy

It's FOMO, man. I don't think it's within the realms of impossibility that Bee has a trust-telly type of meta where he just doesn't play as scum and even if he isn't scum and he's just too busy to play he might not be a terrible lynch.

I don't like Pooky pushing unwnd as scum but not pushing there and it seems like distancing. I can't help but shake the feeling that the Bee push is a counter to Andante.

feels like Ivy has fallen off the face of the earth since RVS. Don't really agree with what someone said about her being overwhelmed as town.

Andante and kdowns (to a lesser extent) vouching for her does give me some slight pause and if she's a town pr then she should get nked soon. Although the problem with that logic is that sometimes scum do leave prs alive for that WIFOM.
