There are certain posts that are being uploaded to my brain that I'm trying to make a decision on, such as Qrow's use of past experience to justify that the pace is fine. When, like, okay? Sure? Alright.

With regards to mastina- I don't think it makes sense for mastina to come out of the gate and say her role empowers a raid if she was just scum looking to empower her role with extra shots. She could do the same thing without drawing extra attention to herself.

Sure. I'd expect to be able to read CheekyTeeky here as town if Cheeky were town but I'm struggling to do so.

Similarly, I'd expect a town-RCE to be a lot more...obviously town, for lack of a better word.

I wouldn't call 1 scumread + 4 townreads + 2 scumleans + 1 townlean +a few null-positives to be 'popping off' in a game with this many players, honestly.

You know how normally in games I get into the "tunnel" mode, where I exaggerate both town/scumreads to be stronger than they actually are? How I will make pushes with confidence and conviction?

I'm struggling to do that this game. Closest I've got is my Qrow/Raven scumread (which might be a bit of the tunnel mode read), and a few of my townreads (Mirio/Dwlee come to mind as exaggerated townreads tho Bell's town enough that the townread on him isn't exaggerated). But I'm struggling to lock people down, and struggling when locking things down to make them be strongly so. I've got basically no conviction here and it fucking sucks.

Give it a bit of time tho, I'm sure that'll change eventually and slowly.

One of the gratifications of Mallorca is that you can actually go on a bear hunt. Of course, one should not take that in a literal manner. But, if you have the right spirit and the willingness to allow for the unexpected, and are prepared to go right through the hitches and obstacles that Mallorcan landscape may present you with, a hike in Mallorca’s countryside can be utterly rewarding, inspiring and thrilling, just like the rhyme by Michael Rosen has us believe.

We went for such a trek yesterday afternoon in sublime weather conditions. We got all huffy and puffy, sweaty, exhilarated and thrilled, at least I did. No, we did not find any bears nor did we have to struggle with snowstorms nor deep rivers. But there was long grass, there were deep forests and there was a cave or two as well as the odd obstacle, some wonderment and plenty of wildlife. We got back home all safe and sound, very pleased, rewarded and satisfied to live on this dazzling island.

There are no indigenous bears in Mallorca nor does anyone think that there have ever been. There are a couple of brown bears in La Reserva de Galatzó, over in the South Western part of the Tramuntana mountain range. But there are opportunities to go on a bear hunt everywhere on the island in all but the literal sense, and plenty of them.(this is me townreading the mystic bears, to be clear)

given my experiences with games advancing the first step “too early” I agree that mirio’s approach feels a bit scum-motivated. I’ve been on both ends of a town win where a very early D1 scum elim put scum on the back foot for the rest of the game.

My motive wasn't specifically to pressure you, per se, inasmuch as it was to say, "hey everybody, take a closer look over here and tell me what you think!"

That said I'd feel much better about your slot if you made a push that resonated with me.

The only person I'd really want to go on right now is Qrow I guess. I don't like them stepping back like they did and have given small weird pings. Nancyhead hasn't impressed either in her presence.

I've had some weird fleeting thoughts about there being scum in Qrow/RealCheeks/Head1+2 and I don't know if it's because they're all hydras and there's weird dissonance from two people expressing themselves or what. Maybe in the way they interact. I think of those three the least like to be scum is RCE+Cheeks. The meta townread that RCE threw at me with Cheeky after our back and forth early game didn't feel like it was just to placate me, nor did they have to actually placate me at that point given my level of engagement. It feels like a genuine realization of "oh, this is different from Team Mafia" and thus recalibrating from it.

The Mystic Bears hydra I'm just not engaging with this early on. Noraa always finds me weird or scummy early on in games like these (from what I recall at least, in Titus v Nancy Drew and Happy Face ) and then we get into spats that I really don't feel like doing for a third time again. That's too much to deal with in a game I'm already not vibing with a lot.

In large normal 235 he latched onto Nero Cain like a barnacle on a boat's hull, triggering my tell where scum tend to align with a townie's PoV to pocket that townie as well as to make them look partnered. Following that, in Mini Normal 2234 I saw scum!T3 doing similar things with town!StD, and because I'd had such a red herring in dwlee's behavior I completely overlooked it! And now I think I'm seeing the same things between 2 MORE slots here, so I'm kinda like "great, this tell feels REALLY solid but now that dwlee fucked it up it feels impossible to use it with the same faith I had before!"
I think I wanna leave the suspense on who's doing it here though, but the impression is there based on what I'd seen in my calibration readings.

A recently finished Mini Normal. I was scum and town Titus had some really weird gut feeling posts that STD also felt too. I used that as an excuse to fake a mindmeld and potentially pocket STD.
In short, my read on Titus was real and what was likely what town me would have felt in the moment.
