Why do you think FL is town?In post 625, Magical Girl wrote:If this is the end result then I’m finished with that for now. Because that’s where I am at.In post 620, Klick wrote: Eh FL is probably town
It makes me a little sad that you forgot I was in the game
Has there been a scumtell though? In post 645, Skygazer wrote: i like my vote on patch bc i haven't seen them town tell yet

Same though tbhIn post 671, Skygazer wrote: yeah flavor seems to always have that itch to post a lot regardless of alignment
I don't understand. You said your issue with the list was that it felt like political positioning and people were being put in boxes with little to no reasoning. But here you're saying the lists wouldn't have been a big deal if Ranger placed you higher? In post 679, Flavor Leaf wrote: Probs not.
I don't think this is weird. I brought up what Ranger did in that game because it felt off that you were putting so much stock in her lists when you've had direct experience with her doing the exact same thing before. I don't remember you posting memes and stuff D1 in that game because I barely read it, but I do remember Ranger always putting lists at the end of her postsIn post 694, Flavor Leaf wrote: Black’s posting is weird considering they talked about what Ranger was doing during Demon Slayer but they omitted what I was doing during Demon Slayer.
He drops in and says he might contribute later. Then he drops a seemingly harmless question asking if people are enjoying fighting the training dummyIn post 705, Blue. wrote:How so?In post 702, Black wrote: VOTE: Cakez
I was thinking scum might enter the thread a certain way and so far this fits
Any information scum can obtain about our Pokemon is valuable to them. Even if someone were to say "oh no I'm not having fun the training dummy keeps destroying me!" then that can be useful for the scum. I'm surprised your not seeing how talking about the training battles could be detrimental to the town tbhIn post 719, Blue. wrote: What on earth do you think talking about training dummy fights accomplishes for scum?
YesIn post 719, Blue. wrote: It was the most vague, inoffensive question imaginable, do you actually believe scum are going to try to fish out details of people's roles that way?
I mean you never even responded to me when I said I think scum could fish for info that way. Make your point. Why don't you think scum would fish for info that way?In post 726, Blue. wrote: I don't believe you really believe the words you're writing
Cakez isn't the first thing that wandered in front of me though. And I wouldn't exactly describe him as an easy targetIn post 726, Blue. wrote: I think you're looking for an easy target and went after the first thing that wandered in front of you
It's barely a case. I was waiting for someone to bring up training battles and I think that combined with Cakez not really doing anything is the best lead I have atmIn post 726, Blue. wrote: Your case is the most contrived thing in the 29 pages so far, so I'm voting you.
If Cakez is scum then the question was designed to be harmless while still having the potential to provide information to the scum teamIn post 739, WhemeStar wrote: But I do think the question was pretty harmless cause the training dummy could be different stats for every1 rigjt
Ok that's great but you should have reached this conclusion when patch forgot I was in the mfing game -_-In post 742, Skygazer wrote: i've decided that black pressing me on my patch read means theyre very likely not scum together
They did this with Cakez too fwiwIn post 749, Chandra Nalaar wrote: If you're going to defend someone at the first sign of pressure, at least provide a reason. Otherwise, kindly let me do my thing.
I don't really care if you think it's grandstanding. My goal was to stop that conversation in its tracks and it worked. Whether it's fake or not this action still benefits townIn post 753, Blue. wrote:This grandstanding is very, very fake.In post 743, Black wrote: Also it doesn't really matter what players set their dummy stats as. Conversations about the training dummy only benefit scum
That's a weird predictionIn post 757, sheepsaysmeep wrote: I feel like this game/playerlist commits me long-term. I feel like im gonna be alive in like fucking f3 or something in 2 months and I hate it
Why would scum!Cakez deliberately try to out people though? It makes much more sense for him to drop the training battles comment disguised as a harmless question to see if anyone bites. Much sneakierIn post 779, Flavor Leaf wrote: I think even if Cakez is scum, they didn’t actively try to out people. Seems more like an impulse action that could come from either alignment
thisIn post 787, SquirtleSquad wrote: The claim that you don't know the difference between disagreeing with someone and saying "you must be real fun at parties" and "you are a buzzkill" is also absurd if you're an adult.

Yeah, you're seeing itIn post 797, WhemeStar wrote: Okay so black is going on about how cakez training dummy question could be scummy and I’m like I dknt really agree with that cause I think it can just be a way to start conversation which made me think yeah he’s just trying to start conversation like in an RVS phase but then I’m like hmm why does he need to do that because the game has 20 pages of content and isn’t in RVS anymore so the harmless conversation generating question doesn’t really have a point anymore
Talking about training dummy battles can only benefit scum. There's plenty of information scum can get from those conversations. Is Player A really bad at battling? Easy target for scum potentially. Did Player A win all their training battles? Maybe they have a tough Pokemon and scum should avoid them. These are just a couple of examples on why scum might try to talk about training battlesIn post 803, Flavor Leaf wrote: tinfoil that Cakez case is just scum projecting their own thoughts about the training dummy comment.
because i personally dont really think anything of it either way, and the training dummy thing didnt even cross my mind in the slightest.
Ok, that makes sense, and this feels like a townie thought processIn post 810, Flavor Leaf wrote:In post 807, Black wrote:Talking about training dummy battles can only benefit scum. Sure, I'm not questioning the case.
But town do things that benefit scum all the time. you could be right, im just bringing up my thoughts that it could be projecting what you, possible scum, could see a townie doing a scum beneficial thing and pouncing.

I don't think sitting here waiting for people to ask you questions about a game you haven't read is more productive than reading said game and sharing your thoughts. You don't even have to read it all. Just start somewhere and tell us what you thinkIn post 978, SirCakez wrote: I'll try to skim/catch up but I feel my time would be more productive engaging someone

i wanna vote here bc their screaming from the rooftops about not talking about the dummy rubbed me the wrong way
Meh. I see what you're saying, but I think competent scum can phrase things certain ways so that they can argue "this is a harmless question, there's no way I'm fishing here."In post 1010, Skygazer wrote: anyways i think competent scum are usually afraid of being accused of fishing so sircakez coming in hot with the dummy thing is kinda +town in my mind oddly enough
No. Should I?In post 1012, Skygazer wrote: question for black: did you read any of the last pokemon battles game?
I'm not trying to make it some huge deal. I just had a thought before the game started that scum might want to ask about training battles to get some kind of competitive advantage. I'm not trying to say no one is allowed to talk about them but I don't see any way the town benefits by doing soIn post 1014, jjh927 wrote: Since it has been brought up again, I think all the stuff about keeping quiet about training dummy fights is probably a bit overblown, but there is some value to it

But in summary, I lazily caught scum on day 1, there was a kind-of guilty on day 2 due to the way scum#1 had claimed scum#2's role, and then on day 3 we had massclaim and when I put all the mechanical pieces together I determined who the scum was because they fakeclaimed while not understanding quite how battle mechanics worked
I think I'm assuming that scum have to kill our Pokemon to kill us but I could be completely wrong about thatIn post 1022, Skygazer wrote: I thought this post betrayed some tmi on scum having the ability to challenge players or something but i mulled it over and feel less strongly aaaa
