Like, seriously, how do you defend yourself over your playstyle in a game 3 pages long that you haven't even begun to play in? Just wondering. And why are we doing the 'let's not scumhunt and just lynch someone some of us have a personal problem with instead' thing? And what is with this 'no quotes' thing? Am I missing something here? Some legit reasoning behind it that pertains to an epic level of scumhunting I haven't learned of?-

I used the phrase in a purposely sarcastic way to imply that they were doing, essentially, the same thing as what they accused me of. Seems you are as well. But that's fine. I've gotten used to always having players in games who feel they need to exude some kind of air of "I'm absolutely correct and any kind of denouncing of my ideas in any way will result you the offender being mafia based on that alone". I can work around it to do my own scumhunting independent of them, regardless of how much they dislike it.-

Yes, because CLEARLY you need to all look to Fate to decide all decisions for the town, Vezo. Being a sheep is a lot easier and means that you don't have to worry about taking any of the responsibility when things go badly. Riddle me this: Gandalf flips town, I still get pursued because I didn't jump on a wagon I don't believe in? These little peer-pressure threats are fairly pointless.
Preview Edit: I agree, Elli, that Dana is scum. I think I'll look at Mist to see if I see what you see.
Double Preview Edit: Nice going Vezo. Remind me again of why you're voting Gandalf? Please refrain from saying "Fate said so".-

I missed the part about the second ability activating through means of quotes as well, and simply thought the user imposed 'no quote' rule was RVS shenanigans to find a RVS wagon to fake-ride until someone legit slipped up. It would explain why I seem to be having trouble seeing that as a scumtell. As for the OMGUS vote, I see it as him being upset that Fate used an out-of-game-in-a-different-ongoing-game reason to justify voting him here. However, no one confirmed or denied this being the case when I mentioned it earlier.-

You did that in actual caps, for the record. Also, I have already posted my lack of concern for being put on a "scumlist" for reasons that end up amounting to not doing what you want of me.
Other than that, I looked at it. I just don't see much in the way of finding things scummy about him. So I'll leave him to those of you who do, and I'll look elsewhere so that the town's attention isn't focused all in one spot. Though, after Mist's last post, I now see the problem with Mist.-

I only mentioned the caps because having the caps tag + caps seemed funny and odd to me. Wasn't sure if it was on purpose or if you simply had capslock on and didn't notice it. Also, the hammer isn't in my hands. I'm sure Mist would love to do it in an attempt to look pro-town.
Preview Edit: It's a reference to Stephan King's Dark Tower series. If it were for the links in the signature, I'd update it to the full version of the Gunslinger's Creed. I guess I've played enough games since returning to satiate my getting into any game I'd like now, so I guess I'll go change it.-

You're not going to like me most of this game, Fate, I don't think. I tend to rebel against being told I have to do something "or else" when I don't see the reasoning behind it the others see. I can understand you wanting me to hammer, I really can. You get a townread on me, you get a scumread on him, you don't want that townread to be loss so that you don't have to focus as much attention on me as on others and can scumhunt more efficiently. But I cannot just blindly follow others. Perhaps if he continues to flounder around after whatever rehearsal he's at, I can see enough reason to hammer him without his claim (because I am not liking the lack of a claim nor the "no intent to hammer" card), but I intend to hold onto the fact that Dana should be dying today. I hope you can understand that, as you also seem like the type of person who doesn't just do what people want because they tell you to.-

Also, iso post 3 pretty much was my red flag for you, Dana, followed by the fact that you ignored when I questioned it and then began to assume I had you pegged as scum for something I didn't. I mean, I assume you were talking about me calling you scum since I'm the only one voting you. If you were not talking about me, then that's even scummier to me, because that means you can question the motives of people not voting you but choose to ignore the person actually on you.-

I've been speaking sarcasm as a second language since before I could speak English as a first language. Nothing about post 212 comes across as sarcastic. And I don't buy the "it's the interwebz fault" thing, because I convey and read sarcasm through the internet just fine. Raz is added to the list with Dana.-

Did you not see how I interacted with Fate? I hold my ground, and do my thing. That's how you do it. You do not bow out and whine about it and use emotional appeals to try to curry favor with people. There are players exactly like that all over the site. Expecting everyone to act exactly within specific parameters is unrealistic.
My reasons behind my vote have been listed on the first day. Couple that with the fact that Dana not only does nothing to make me change my mind, but in fact acts scummier and I think my vote now speaks for itself. I don't know why everyone else is jumping on. Granted, I have stated multiple times that I want Dana to be lynched, my word alone shouldn't be a reason for people to follow me. Hence why I am weary of the speed of the wagon.
I do not believe the question itself is scummy. The manor in which one asks that question, however...
How come you keep coming back to this? Like I said, do your own thing. You're so focused on the people who are blindly following the most vocal person that you ignore the others who are also scumhunting. Something yo yourself haven't been doing. Perhaps if you scumhunted or read the game a bit slower (because I can only assume you've glanced over it to miss as much as your post implies you've missed) before posting, then maybe people wouldn't want to lynch you. Then again, sometimes it's just so hard to hide scumminess.-

MPR is just looking for bandwagons.
Raz pretty much copied your reasoning. Like, a cliffnotes version. Except you won't get a C on a paper using this version. Probably not even a D. And Raz presented it almost as if he himself found something and wanted to share with the class. No wonder people can see Raz as scummy.
Anti hinted at copying your reasoning without actually saying the reasoning. Which, of course, means that Anti can deny this and bring up something entirely different in an attempt to discredit me and derail the wagon. Or do something else devious. I think it's fairly obvious I don't like this vote. Unless it's talking about the one specific thing in that post that I will now refuse to mention. Fun, isn't it?
As for you, it was a very OMGUS-ish vote. Except that it wasn't. The defense was good and well thought out, and it warranted you voting him to the point that, had you not, we'd be having a very different conversation right now. A misrepresentation that huge could not be allowed to pass by without you voting him.
Regardless of how strong I am on a particular person, or set of people, I'm always ready and willing to hear a good case. I see NO pro-town point in not listening to a good case that don't involve sanity-guaranteed alignment-cops, strong and clear investigation roles, town-recruitable-only masons, and thing of the like. So I am perfectly fine with pressuring other people. Like Black Mist. Or a few others that I could name, but won't, because it might screw up the reads.
I noticed that you'd be more inclined to trust the wagon, regardless of it's speed, if Dana flips scum. I disagree. Then I'd really look at those other three more closely, as it could be that one of them is simply scum hiding in a wagon they think will come to pass based on Dana's recent play. Especially after your post. Meaning I'd look more closely at Raz and Anti in particular.
I also noticed that little bit at the end of your post. Yeah, I took a look at her join date while I was typing my response to her. It's weird, isn't it? No way this is the first game she's played with "rude" people. Or "strong-willed" people, as I prefer to call them.-

Yes, Raz. That's the only thing. Never mind your distinct lack of scumhunting. Forget the post MPR had of you earlier, referencing your iso. Don't even mention that you have never dropped a town tell all game and don't have that feeling some players have where you kind of sense that they are town by the the flow of their posts, so that it would mask scummy things you say/do. You know, people should TOTALLY just let that accidental quoting thing go!-

Razgriz wrote:Or you could lynch him now and watch a cop prove me or no cop come forward, cuz they got me innocent. But hey scum ya know why not get rid of another town and try to bus your partner
Was that aimed at me? The calling of scum part?
Your post literally is asking for a cop to get a guilty on you to prove you as a miller. A cop report coming as guilty doesn't prove anything. You could be miller, you could be mafia. It's back to square one. And why would they get an inno on you if you're a miller?-

You are not cleared, it is a nulltell and will be treated as such be every town-aligned player in this game, am I understood? I can bring up a game that is a perfect example of why. It's my Family Guy Mafia game from my archived games, where we lynched scum, they claimed people were their partners, including me, and I flipped town the next day, and it took until the end of the game for them to figure out the other player mentioned was actually scum. And why? Because they didn't allow it to be a nulltell. I had a slighty protown feel at the time, the other player had a slightly scummy one. They went after me first after the scum flipped, and I flipped town, causing them to leave that last player alone. Almost cost the game. So if you are town-aligned this game you will TREAT THIS AS A NULLTELL. We judge Dana on everything OTHER than that post.-

No one has voted you since that post. We're trying to allow for discussion. Might wanna tone down the freaking out over nothing.danakillsu wrote:I don't get this. Under normal circumstances, wouldn't this look amazingly scummy?
Yet since he's talking about me, this ridiculous pushing to get me lynched before any discussion occurs appears to be ignored. We can do that after we lynch Dana, no?
Again, WHY would I be the first one on the Razgriz wagon? I'M NOT THAT STUPID. Maybe Antihero is scum, I don't know, but I had no reason to start bussing if I was Razgriz's scumpal.-

Remember to not quote, MPR.
As for Tasky, you mispreresented a lot of what I said. 335/336, I do not know of that tell. However, I don't think my post implied that. Fate was town. That was obvious. Protective role should have been there, assuming we have one. If they were not, I don't know why, though I intend to find out after the game. 366 was a direct response to Raz's post above mine. It seemed like Raz was using sarcasm. 500 was me getting mad at myself for quoting. How is it anxious? And anxious about what, precisely?-

People replacing in for a player who appeared scummy and actually is scum often have nice little replace in posts. No matter how nice the post, Black's actions aren't going to be erased. That being said, I'd rather focus elsewhere for now. You need time to show us who you are so that we can form an opinion of you separate from Black Mist. Opening posts rarely do it for me.
I can't decide if I want to add pressure to Elli or join in on pressuring Anti just yet. I think I'll watch to see how Anti treats the current pressure/what Elli has to say upon posting this new day before making my choice.-
