4. Do not discuss this game with anybody else outside this game thread, unless you're specifically allowed to in QuickTopics.
5. Do not quote directly from your Role PM or any role PM.
6. Do not use small font size or invisible font to hide messages. Similarly, do not use any off-site programs to code messages. Also Robust cryptographyand steganography are not allowed in games.

Mod:
in thread.
Voting, Lynching, Death
1. To vote for somebody, type this:
VOTE: ooba
or
Vote: ooba
It must be in bold. The colon is optional. Abbreviations for player names are fine as long as it's obvious to whom you're referring. 2. To remove your vote, type
UNVOTE:
in bold. You don't have to unvote before revoting, but I would prefer it.
5. A simple majority of votes (1/2 the number of living players plus one, rounded down) will achieve a lynch and end the Day. Unvoting after that point will not save someone's life.
6. The time between the final vote that causes a lynch and my updating of the thread is known as "twilight." Anybody may still talk in-thread during twilight, but no vote-changing will be honored.
7. Once you are dead, do not post at all in the thread. Likewise, do not communicate with anybody still in the game once you're dead.
Deadlines and Activity

If the player returns to the game before I can find a replacement, they can stay. If I have already found a replacement, then the replacement stays.
2. If you indicate V/LA (Vacation/Limited Access) in thread or by PM, you are immune to the above rule as long as you're on V/LA. Do not abuse this - lying about V/LA is not acceptable.
3. The first day will have a deadline of 3 WEEKS. All other days will have a deadline of 2 weeks.
4. If no majority of votes is reached at deadline, then nobody will be lynched.
5. Each night has a deadline of 72 HOURS. I will extend this as necessary if any replacements are needed. I will also update the thread earlier if I receive all night actions before time.
Game Specific Info:
1.There is a cult in this game.
2.The cult will be able to recruit from N2 onwards.
3.There is at least one person with the following role
4.If you are unrecruitable, the following will be mentioned in your role PM

Due to your strong faith, any attempts to convert you to a R'hllor worshiper will be unsuccessful.
5.There are no weird mechanics or situations where the mod will lie to the players to detract from the enjoyment of the game.

Prologue
Avilare had always been a harmonious town. Yes, the town had been under siege in a dozen wars by as many kings. But there had always been a sense of respect amongst the townspeople of various faiths - those who worshiped the old gods of the first men and those who worshiped the Seven. Any minor incidents were always quickly handled by Flay and his city watch. The town had even consented to the followers of the Lord of the Light building a temple in Avilare. But things had gotten out of hand after the Sept of the Seven had been burned recently. There was clear evidence of the worshipers of the old gods being involved in it and as soon as word got out about that, there was nothing the city guard could do; They were too few in number. The mobs assembled and quickly pronounced all the worshipers of the Old gods as heretics.
There was a massacre in the Buin districts where the old god worshipers lived. And now rumors of retaliation from their side were abound. The council had decided that the Godswood would be burned. If the worshipers did not have their faith, then they would not have the will to mount a counterattack. It was not fair, but it was on him to save the city. But his mind kept going back to the question which was nagging him from the morning - "Why did the worshipers of the Old gods burn the Sept of the Seven?"
Lost in his thoughts, he nearly did not hear the sound of the creaking old wood behind him. Before he could turn, something hard hit him at the back of the head. "You are not going to burn the Godswood!" - Those were last words he heard before everything went black ..

Seacore took a few steps back and admired the temple. Yes it looked magnificent as befitting R'hllor, the Lord of the Light. He remembered how the lady had shown him the images in the flames - How he would burn the Sept on a lonely night, how the worshipers of the Old gods would get blamed for it, the construction of the temple and the eventual conversion of Avilare. And to now think that the temple would be complete in two days time! The Lady had promised to start talking to the townspersons after the temple was complete to spread the glory of R'hllor. And with that thought, he suddenly remembered that he had to write a note chronicling what he had found out today. He started back into the temple.
As he was getting his parchment, he saw a figure detaching itself from the shadows. "You will answer for your crimes scum!" the shadow bellowed. No! He could not die now - not before he completed this message. He ran as fast as his legs could take him. He could hear the sound of his pursuer behind him - luckily Seacore knew the temple better. He managed to distance himself and then hid behind a secret Recess. He started writing the message to the Lady - everything depended on it!
Flameaxe had lost him. He told himself to refocus - his anger was clouding his judgement today. He thought of the Godswood and found a renewed strength. He retraced his steps. There was a slight scratching sound coming from behind one of the walls. If anything, Flameaxe was a patient man when the need arose. He took his spear and positioned himself just in front of the wall. He did not make a sound.
It took close to ten minutes before the scum crawled out of his hiding place. He trust his spear. The gods were with him and he did not miss. Confident and elated that he had avenged the innocents killed, he leaned in closer and whispered "Where is your lord of the light now?". Unfortunately, he never saw the poisoned dagger before it hit him ..

Chapter 1
Ooba was feeling uneasy looking at the crowd. He wanted nothing more than to go back to the watchtower. Trying to burn the godswood was a folly, but this beat them all. However, he was under orders from the council to carry this through, no matter how much he disagreed with their decisions. After all, they had threatened to find another replacement for Flay if he could not do the job. He cleared his throat ..
"We are assembled here today to clear Avilare from those who would seek to do her harm.". He pointed to the makeshift structure in front of the Sept, or what was left of the Sept anyway. "The non-believers are good at appearing like one of us, mingling in and stabbing us in the back when we least expect it. However with the Seven gods watching over us, I am sure we can bring them to JUSTICE!"
He tossed the rope in the air and the crowd cheered ..
Cersei was happy. The council had done a lot of work today. She was about to leave with the rest when Lord Gyles Rosby approached her ..
"My grace. We've had reports of trouble in Avilare. The Commander of the watch is having a hard time keeping the peace. Apparently, he had to give in to mob justice and had to hang somebody today.". "Well that should have appeased those peasants" Cersei laughed.
"No. Apparently not. The man they hanged was not a heretic. The Commander is requesting more men to quell the crowd or he fears this madness will continue ..". "Please tell him that the king is fighting a war and cannot be expected to do his job for him. Also tell him that if he finds it difficult, he might find himself in the dungeons of the Red Keep!"
Between all his coughing, she could only assume Rosby had replied "Yes" to her. She gave it some more thought after he had left. Maybe she had been mistaken and should have sent someone to investigate. She stopped herself there and reminded herself that she should not second guess her decisions. After all, how much worse could things get in Avilare ..

Chapter 2
The mob assembled back in front of the Sept again. The tensions were high in the air. Some of his city watch had already started deserting their posts. The death in the night hadn't helped things..
It was nearly dark as Cat walked through the streets to reach the House of Black and White. There was little light as only a few candles were burning. She felt safer as soon as she entered the doors of the House. No sooner had she entered, than the kindly man came upon her. She was happy that he had met her because she had a lot of things to tell him.
"What three new things do you know, that you did not know when last you left us?” he asked.
"The sailors talk of trouble in Avilare. Apparently the townspersons are hunting for those who would do them wrong."
"Do you know this, or is this only hearsay?"
"I know this! I also know that they hanged a Smith today in front of the burnt Sept." she replied back.
"Hmm" said the kindly man. "And the third thing?"
"The temple of R'hllor will be completed in Avilare today. I do not think it is of any significance though"
"That is not true" he replied and for the first time Cat thought she could see fear in those old eyes of his. Suddenly she did not feel safe even inside the House of Black and White anymore. She was glad that a sea separated her from Avilare ..
Commissioned by the Commander of the City watch to make a fine blade before his untimely demise, Kerrigan had vowed to finish the task and bring the heretics responsible to a quick end. Unfortunately for her, she had never been as deft with her words as she had been with her hammer. A word misspoken and the mob turned on her like the savages they were. Her last thought was a prayer to the Seven to keep Avilare safe ..

Chapter 3
She was the most compassionate them of all .. She thought that by shielding others from the heretics and protecting the innocent, she would help Avilare rise back to it's feet quickly after this. However there was no one to save her when she needed it the most..

Baelor I, known as the Beloved and the Blessed, was the ninth Targaryen king to reign on the Iron Throne. Known for his piety, Baelor was a septon as well as a king. He was the second son of Aegon III and ruled after the death of his brother Daeron I. The Great Sept of Baelor in King's Landing features a statue of him. And today it looks upon the mob gathering for another day of execution ...
Alayne did not like the Eyrie that much. Ever since the onset of winter, the castle had become even more desolate and lonely with only her father, Robert and handful of servants present. With most of them preparing for the move down the mountain, Alayne had taken up the responsibility of tending to the Ravens. Most days it just involved feeding the birds. Today, however there was a message from Avilare. It spoke of troubles with the cult of R'hllor rising in the populace. The mention of the word "cult" took her back to the times her Septa taught her ..
"So child, a cult is a group which preys on people's fears and makes them turn against their cause. Look at these illustrations so that you know what it about ..."
"Cult"
"Not a Cult"
"Cult"
"So let's see if you can spot the differences on your own, child"
Alayne had looked at the picture and said "Not-cult". Her Septa was happy that she had got it right. The second picture was more difficult.
"Cult" Alayne had ventured at that time. "No. It may look like a member of a cult but it is in fact the very opposite of it. Remember this. It will serve you well in the future!"
As Alayne fed the new raven, she hoped the people of Avilare were better at spotting cults than she was ...

Chapter 4
During the night, you've lost one more of your own. You find DGB lying in a pool of blood with "The Seven-Pointed Star" at her side. She had never lost faith in the Seven even till the end. However, you know that you're not as lucky and will have your faith tested through this coming day and the rest..
