Gaspode, I agree with you, "many assailants" seems to refer to multiple groups. Whether it is mafia and sk, two mafia groups (ex: werewolves vs. mafia) or some other mixture, I am not sure.

Agrees w/ everyone that giving bloojay a couple more days is the right thing to do.

I just viewed yoko in american idol mafia (viewtopic.php?t=659&start=0&postdays=0& ... highlight=), where he played himself to a lynch. With Jeep in the game, it's hard not to reveal your role, but still. I am not sure why yoko was targeted. Other players definitely raise red flags in my mind more than yoko does (no offense against him).

The reasons for my inactivity stem from the commencing of Spring quarter and waiting to see if things would simmer down after I voted lurkers and the flurry of votes that followed. I was on spring break when this game began. I must go study my chemistry now, but will post in the coming days.

Well, in some games, rhyming is used to gain some ability as in MeMe's Princess Bride mafia. Massive (doctor) had that ability in that game. Mneme has posted the most in rhymes, so I think it may be plausible that mneme gains something from rhyming. I'm not trying to bring mneme out if my hypothesis is right. (if so he may need protecting from a natural doc). Also, after reading all of mneme's posts (in this tread), I am having difficulty finding where mneme said rhyming is not related to his role. On the contrary, I find evidence for it.

Re 1: note that my first few posts didn't rhyme -- (nor this one, since it's meta). And while I could see a rhyming sorcerer in, say, a fantasy game, it would seem to be a Bad I

The key is “meta”, from the Webster’s dictionary: “1 a : occurring later than or in succession to.” So, what I gather is that he has to post in rhyme, say a couple times, a non-rhyming post, then rhyming once more to gain an ability.

The past 24 hours have been very productive with a mafia member and SK gone!!!! yay!!!!
I agree with the theory that MGIA was protected by the doc (as he should be) and a killing attempt failed.
It's possible that MGIA's choice was blocked or he investigated the god father.

If we have a doc-blocker, I think your idea, post 382, is right Talitha. The evidence is likely with MGIA and Talitha's reports.

I noticed that all the turtles have been killed by "multiple/many attackers." Can the turtles only be killed by more than one group or do members of one group kill the turtles?

As I said early, all the turtles have been killed by multiple/many attackers. Jeep specifically said "multiple" for night 1, maybe more than 1 group, and "many" for nights 2 and 3, possibly a single group that kills in numbers.

Uraj being "eaten" seems to have come out of nowhere. After reading the book, two, possibly three, carnivous animals are mentioned: "Aunt Annie's alligator" and "Lazy lion licks a lollipop" with "X ... spelling ax and extra fox" being a third possibility. Foxes usually eat small rodents and such as opposed to larger organisms as people (Nixie Knox).

FD may have been killed by a vigilant. I am not sure, did FD seem suspicious to anyone?

Also, this pattern may be useless, but on odd numbered nights (1 and 3), we've had one kill. On even numbered nights (2 and 4), we've had two kills.

What we need though is some more participation. Only three out of 11 living players have posted (not trying to come down on people). The 24 deadline almost came about.

I agree with Willows_weep's comments (page 16) that we have some good docs and such as opposed to something that kills on even nights.

If Willows_weep blocked Talitha last night (night 4); and Talitha got "no result", how did Mr_Gnome_It_All get a "no result" if Willows_weep didn't block anyone on night 3? With a blocker, I doubt that a doctor/blocker exists.

Claiming is helpful to the town, since it gives the town a better idea of people and of roles. I have waiting for Cadmium & Gaspode to claim. Then Zoneace to do so, since he wants claim last. Cadmium has one post this day and Gaspode has none (none in the vacation tread either).

Wow, three kills is alot. Two mafs are gone. I think we have about 1 left. My thoughts on the remaining players:
Cadium: Gaspode was killed by Cadium, who killed two baddies for us. So he is def pro-town.
Talitha: is a naive cop, as she says, since she got innocent on gslamm, who was mafia.
Morpheus and Sketchwick: know each other to be good as masons.

Fuldu: not sure. As has been say, his role doesn't help the town totally. Maybe the sk people are talking about.
Mr_Gnome_It_All: the last mafia. I think he gave away his mafia brother, mneme, to look good in the eyes of the town. He maybe a mafia cop, gslamm was maf w/ an ability.
myself, bk: a turtle, who has been on scum bandwagons and helped the town catch scum w/ discussion.

MGIA, I had a feeling you would bring up that point. Out of curiosity, what made you decide to investigate me? The fact that most everyone else was cleared?
This game has been fun.
For the record, FD was my doing as were Tigris and Zoneace. Night 4 was a big hit for my team (uraj45 and I), I tried to find the doc so I could get to the cops w/o trouble. The only trouble was that there were no docs. sighs.
