Always recognize that different games means different times, different players, different interactions, and thus, Mastin (who is very, very sensitive to the atmosphere of a game, completely morphed by it) changes in them.

The larger the game, the harder it is for me to function properly.
In Duck Tales, I was able to lock things down because I was able to instantly get a feeling for how things were going on.

Here, I tried that--as I always do--but so far all I'm getting back is a confused static of feelings, where I get things that may be town/scum or may not be. Instead of having a clear, hardlined opinion on "Oh, yes, this is what happened", instead I get "Hey, this might've happened, but wait, no, that doesn't feel right, perhaps it could be that instead, but if so, what about...". Thanks to player interactions, mainly. Players make the game. Lots OF players, most of which I hold little familiarity with (in contrast to Duck where I held familiarity with most of the players), interacting makes it so that instead of seeing clear messages when someone posts, I see static. Too many signals, so there's nothing to focus on, to lock onto.

Thus the difference.

I swear I'm not going to go do a Pine and say I'm not going to contribute. Because I will be, as I can. But the best I can do right now is simply not going to be comparable to the best I did in Duck Tales. Not off of what we have now. Give it some time. A few days, a week. That's all I generally need.

Sorry I've been gone for the last few days. If you read my blog (which, let's face it, nobody does), you'd know that I've been going through some seriously harsh times as of late, particularly over the weekend.

In contrast, the Shaft wagon looks extremely towndriven--the only scum on there is Flubber, who was sharing a neighborhood with Cheetory the other member of his neighborhood and thus, presumably, did it for the towncred. So I don't think the scum wanted Shaft dead. Now I'm not sure where they'd be. But off the wagon is my guess. You can tell by the color-coding alone that if they WERE on there, it'd be at the very end, but far more likely to me is that they're elsewhere.

We know Anti killed farside. we know that his shot was used up. This leaves Bulge, Aero, and him. We also know that the mafia sacrificed their nightkill for Shaft's ability. Four kills. Aero, however, was only visited by one person: Aristo. (That was my result.) This implies that the kill on him was either a ninja...or far more likely, that he suicided in the same manner farside did. His kill on Anti, Anti killing him. This leaves the only kill unaccounted for as being Bulge--unless the mafia had a second nightkill, via bookieying ika, thus the heavy bussing.

N3, we had two normal town deaths, but the lynch was rather predictably vonflare. What if there was a bookie on his lynch, allowing for a second kill?

The only place this doesn't hold up is on N2, where there are three normal deaths, one of them mafia. It'd require mafia somehow having access to three kills--a bookie would explain two (and yes, could explain Flubber if the scum via redirection shot themselves), but I can't think of a third.

Still, though, I think that this deserves other people taking a think at it. Because I'd rather not go into paranoia about, say, another scumteam or such if it can be simply explained by what is plausible.

...Also, we should probably massclaim at this point. We've got only a couple of people who haven't outted their roles.

I do not believe for one second Marquis is actually a vig, especially not with that shot. There was no death during the night. If Marquis is a vig...then where's the scum, or a third party equivalent? (Say for arguments sake, a serial killer: someone whose survival is a threat to the town.) Furthermore, with so many mafia dead, tracker is a greater threat than cop in that a tracker confirms a player just as much as a cop if not moreso. Additionally, there's the factor that I said I had an expiration date; if I died, scum might hope that my flipped role would leave people thinking that I reached it. (I will comment no further.) Plus I actually suspected Marquis and defended Boonskiies. Boonskiies flipped town, so me being against that lynch makes no sense from a scum perspective.

Vig is also the only realistic claim a scum Marquis could hope to make. I predicted it yesterday and kept that fact hidden.
