Because us receivers are wild cards. If scum controls the strongest sensors, which it seem very obvious they do, then they have nothing to fear from us. That's why the sensors need to die. Scum controls most of them, more than likely.

By lynching one of them, we end up with 2, so if they killed one, it would end up with 1 left. We could assume this would be scum, but it's a hard assumption to make, and it leaves us without a result.
By lynching either a sensor/emitter or not lynching at all, we keep all 3, so if they killed one, we'd have 2. This would mean someone could back them up. This could lead to 2 of them going against each other, but it could also lead to a confirmation of 3 people.

Personally, I think NOT lynching a receiver is the best idea. Ergo LLD or SDB is our best lynch. Or Titus. But I dunno.

2. Her role has little usefulness to us, now, as the neighborhood is established.
3. She is able to give me information semi-privately, so she can give me information that would be good to know in case of mislynch.

Also, setup wasn't town sided. A scum watcher rendered the role useless, a role cop is 100% useless for town, and the only alignment cop was easily killed, because there was no protection role whatsoever. The fact that town took it that far shows that scum played poorly.

But I do guess that shows that all it takes is 1 decent scum player.

Oh, and that's not to say that it wasn't enjoyable. I did enjoy the setup, Kagami. Nicely done.

I was basically ignoring you, Titus. I was focused on mindgaming DS for the last 2 days. First, to try and get him to target Marquis, so I could kill FB, then to get him to lynch Marquis.

Seriously, Marquis, you did amazing. I think the only mistake you made, silly as it is to say, was switching onto me as the end of the day you were lynched.

DS was ready to lynch and didn't want to wait much longer. You probably win that lylo situation, if you just stay on Titus.

But taking Titus out of lynch range kind of killed you I think. Maybe not, dunno what DS thought, but that was my perspective on it

Meh. I know it's poor play to let cross-game issues, but my hastiness to end the game stems from an unfinished game for which I'm abstaining from playing any games for a while, as well as UNIMUM. I'm sick of people insulting people directly, and now my blacklist has grown to 6 people from a previous 0.

So yeah, this is likely the last time you'll see me in a game, unless another one needs a late-game sub.

As someone who followed most of the game, I thought D7 was the biggest turning point. It was obvious then that LLD was the last mafia based on the Marquis push which was purely because Marquis had her as a second scumread after Titus, and while that may benefit him as mafia, it could also easily have been a town thought. I don't think DS and Nether were really thinking it through or giving the game the thought and effort it deserved. The hammer was particularly bad and came almost out of laziness. LLD just kept yelling at them repeatedly and DS caved into a strong personality and threw the game. The four of them never really sat down and read the thread and just kept spamming the game with new content without going over the old interactions which would have been really helpful. Admittedly, the early game spam would have made it a task to read which just goes to show why people need to keep their posting rate down.

Blame the setup, at least partially. LLD, Titus, and Wisdom were all fighting for the most posts at first, and then it slowly changed. After that, well, the inconsistency was something to be expected from me. Im too different from one day to the next.

But actually, I didn't throw the game. What I did was supposedly the exact opposite of game throwing, at least from my perspective. Titus was repeatedly pushing that keeping Marquis alive was indeed game throwing...

So if game throwing is listening to a strong voice, then I suppose I did game throw. But where I went wrong was listening to others over my own intuition. Titus was evidently the best lynch there, and LLD knew it. AvF really undermined my confidence. But don't worry. If I join another game, it won't happen again. ^_^

Anyways, there were a lot of things that went wrong this game, and, admittedly, a lot of them do come down to Titus' townbloc.

Let's see. Titus discrediting Wisdom (as I've discussed before) is probably what I'm going to cite most for my final lynch, and thus my death. However, Nether's vote switch made me think it was useless to try to lynch Titus.

And then of course there's me. I'm just need to stop being so damn wishy-washy... But gg LLD. You played well, playing to each person's weaknesses. Titus' ego, Nether's I-Don't-Know-What-His-Deal-Is-But-It-Feels... Different (someone explain to me what Nether's play was like, because I still have no grasp on it), and my insecurities (Thanks Shinobi, you sonofabeech)

imo, I'd say you need someone who can help you slip through the radar. You're already a smaller character (as in you don't have a grand impact on the game like people like Titus and LLD do), but not small enough to go unnoticed. If you're going to play that type of game, then you need to be completely unnoticed. (plz tell me this is good advice)

I wouldn't say a lurker, but definitely not someone like me who ends up on a leading wagon every other day in every game.

Set-up wise, town was pretty screwed here. Watcher sensor, which could potentially find scum pool, was taken by scum. Alignment sensor was killed N1, and then wasn't used until way late in the game. That was a bad move, in hindsight.
