Nice job Titus. You belittled Wisdom, made me discredit his read list, and then caused our best hope to die.
I hope this game was a rude awakening for you. Start listening to people.
“Why was I chosen?'
'Such questions cannot be answered,' said Gandalf. 'You may be sure that it was not for any merit that others do not possess. But you have been chosen, and you must therefore use such strength and heart and wits as you have.”
Also, setup wasn't town sided. A scum watcher rendered the role useless, a role cop is 100% useless for town, and the only alignment cop was easily killed, because there was no protection role whatsoever. The fact that town took it that far shows that scum played poorly.
But I do guess that shows that all it takes is 1 decent scum player.

I just skimmed the dead chat and saw Wisdom regretting not making a stink on LLD. I am kinda sad he didn't. We had LLD kinda nullish and Nether scum in the people that died early. Maybe I saw what matched my belief though.
Oh, and that's not to say that it wasn't enjoyable. I did enjoy the setup, Kagami. Nicely done.
PEdit: Yeah, stop using site lingo with me. I don't understand it. I have no idea what you mean by doormat.

sorry again i had to replace out (@Marquis, MOD, and anyone else who might have been affected by this)- i was literally so far behind that i was outright missing posts and i didn't even realize i was missing them (something that's never happened to me before in a game). that plus a bunch of really aggressive players at the same time and i couldn't get any hold in the game at all.
like, i actually got bored when i had some extra time at work at one point and skimmed this thread sometime D6 or so and found a bunch of Nacho posts directed to me D1 which i didn't even know existed, which obviously affected his read on our slot for some time. -.-
I'll be honest with you this game was major town sided.
For the simple fact that Recievers were the real power roles in this game, and there were no scum usable power roles to really balance.
Like, how do I put this.
Town had too much redundancy to not be advantaged in this game. Even if we get lucky and kill their cop, the GM could always randomly assign a new one, and boom, there you go.
The GM wwas near impossible to kill, as a result of having to take care of other roles. Our roleblock on kill only hits Sensors and Emitters, it doesn't roleblock otherwise.
Yes my Lord, but questions are dangerous, for they have answers.

bad reads happen, but you were definitely slow to re-evaluate things once it became apparent your view of the gamestate was out of whack
this could have happened in a number of places:
>when snarky flipped town
>when someone in your lynch pool got NIGHTKILLED
>when yakko flipped town
>when peregrine flipped town
>when marquis flipped town
any one of those things should've told you "this townbloc i have doesn't make sense" but you never seemed to actually make an effort to radically adjust course
i'm not saying this to be mean, i'm just saying how i perceive it. take it or leave it i guess.
The distance between insanity and genius is measured only by success.
I was basically ignoring you, Titus. I was focused on mindgaming DS for the last 2 days. First, to try and get him to target Marquis, so I could kill FB, then to get him to lynch Marquis.
Seriously, Marquis, you did amazing. I think the only mistake you made, silly as it is to say, was switching onto me as the end of the day you were lynched.
DS was ready to lynch and didn't want to wait much longer. You probably win that lylo situation, if you just stay on Titus.
But taking Titus out of lynch range kind of killed you I think. Maybe not, dunno what DS thought, but that was my perspective on it

This is true. I am slow to readjust if nothing changed my premises.
When Yakko flipped it did change things. His death meant my reads had to be wrong. I do need to calibrate some on when to adjust without being proven wrong.
I do rely too much on proof but my perspective is solving the game literally.
Yeah, and I don't meet normal emotional ranges. My brain functions really fast on data and setup and sometimes I forget not everyone's like me. From my own perspective, laser focus D1 is bad but from other types it's good. To me, D1 is about going every which way and then sorting it out. Others take a different approach. I knew Imperium was trying to reach me by saying I wasn't being helpful. It's why I hard townread them.
