Ok I guess. I think it is pretty clear Majiffy is not just Rhetoric pushing Creature. He’s even requoted his long post showing Creature’s stance was fabricated since you replaced. Did you miss that?

What I saw in the Creature case was evidence that Creature was wrong, which I accepted. If there was talk of motivation in that post I missed it. It's not as if town can never be wrong about anything. Having not read the whole exchange in context and such, my initial thoughts just based on what I have seen is that, whether town or scum, Creature believes what he's saying is right. I don't think as scum he would intentionally hide behind something demonstrably false as a strategy.

alright 10 pages in.

R&A hydra feels "uncomfortable" as Gork put it. The early "let's pressure gork!" thing felt forced, for lack of a better term. Townreading Gork a bit because they picked up on it as well.
Spiffeh leans town. BigYoshiFan is probably my biggest townread. Creature and Vecna feel sooooooorta off to me in their entrances, especially the former. Mixed vibes on Ser in particular.
No one else who posted left much of an impression on me.

having also been town in defcon, i'll just say that the wagon around SAD then was a pretty different context then to how it is now. SAD was pretty much immediately crucified for hard defending someone who ended up flipping scum, as I recall.

I don't really see much reason for one read to significantly alter the other at this point. If we were just blind sheeping R&R, Gin would still be alive.

I'm no good with VCA really but I wouldn't presume the Creature wagon had to have scum on it or not. That said, the wagon composition still looks like a mixed bag to me overall.

I have to say I'm disappointed.

Don't get me wrong. It's interesting analysis. It's a decent theory. It makes sense. But the bottom line is, it relies on two things:
1) Scum is heavily communicating/coordinating their efforts
2) Scum will act how YOU believe it optimally for them to act

I'm not just gonna immediately assume that those are true. Less meta-analysis and more scumhunting, please.
