Dammit, Korina, you should put a link to the game in the role pms. It took almost 5 clicks to get here."He brings the cool and the muscle" -FakeGod

So if EJ is scum he did a really fucking great gambit and we're cool with it being a scum win. Got it.In post 738, Pine wrote:EJ is a Tracker, and followed Drew to him.

I'm useless as to talking about what my predecessor did. I see a proposed action plan that wins me the game as long as EJ is town and no reason to be paranoid about EJ.
Sorry, man, but I'm going to side with the guy who is laying down and dying if he's scum.
I'm literally a warm body and a vote at this point. My investment here is about 0%."He brings the cool and the muscle" -FakeGod

I am apathetic, thanks for noticing.
What strats do you want?
Like, objectively you’re functional conftown here. If I’m a bystander watching a 4:1 night less game with an IC, I suggest the IC pick a player to endgame and then you turbo lynch through that. Yes, I’d like to be that player since it raises my win rate from 66% to 100%, but the shit that happened that goes into that discussion is shit I can’t answer to. I could go back and look at chkflips assertions that my slot could have been recruited, but knowing I wasn’t biases me.
If I have to give a start for 4:1 with no IC, you pick the most competent town player, have them pick two other players and those two endgame. Competent town player has to die but order doesn’t matter.
If you want strats for who should be recruited, you could describe thread state at the time without linking names to player descriptions (X was a universal townread but had claimed vt; Y had PR equity; etc.) and I can give you my opinions, but you actively don’t want me to read for that. I will say in metalocalypse which I assume was roughly concurrent with his choices here, Drew was super bad at picking recruits going for lurker-nips over a literal IC in a non-cult confirmed game, so take that analysis with a grain of salt."He brings the cool and the muscle" -FakeGod

You realize that I can’t justify my slot‘s behavior and saying that the behavior came from my slot inherently taints the analysis, right? Like that was the whole point of describe the actions without linking to slots suggestion."He brings the cool and the muscle" -FakeGod

But here’s the thing. Any argument I make about my slot is going to be entirely null. I’d make the same argument as scum or town because scum me and town me both win if we lynch the other three players (assuming ofc youtown, blah blah blah.)
So town me is going to make whatever argument I think will not get me lynched and scum me will make whatever argument will not get me lynched and either way we’re playing with charisma. Sorry, but I don’t want to take the time to pocket you with entirely NAI arguments. So let’s just assume I made a really compelling case for whoever I am town and then you were really impressed and then you realized that you couldn’t trust it in the first place. That way I don’t have to make the useless high effort post in the first place.
I’ll definitely help if you want to broad strokes thread activity for me, but I’m not gonna go back and read."He brings the cool and the muscle" -FakeGod

Cult isn’t balanced. Or rather, balancing cult is a gigantic pita. To even get close the setup should white flag on recruiter lynch, (which, coincidentally, solves the apathy driven we’re going to puts around for days thing that happened here.In post 803, Elsa Jay wrote:Yeah... A weird game.
Maybe it's the fact they weren't limited recruiting in the slightest, or were 1-shot and REALLY had to think who to recruit?
I'm an avid wanter of bastard games, but I guess I like third parties and multi scum more... And unique weird roles.
Unlimited Cult isn't my thing I guess."He brings the cool and the muscle" -FakeGod
