I'm extra frustrated because I had like 10 tabs open and a bunch of stuff I wanted to say and nowhere
near
enough time to address all the stuff I needed to with a suspicion that most of it didn't matter and tons of time on the clock to do it and I didn't get a chance to make a case.
And I think it's absurd to insist that you were so good there was no reason I should have been able to

I never got to, and you apparently played such a perfect game that there was no point.
That's what I keep getting out of this.
All I actually got time to express in the game was frustration rather than actually taking the time I needed but you'd already dismissed anything I had to say as not based on facts.
I can't do a good job responding to 100,000 words that quickly and actually say anything that would be listened to.
I don't think it's fair to say that Ari should have been townreading you as scum so strongly that my effort would have been irrelevant.
I thought I'd have time to make it, but I didn't, and then it never would have mattered anyway

I THINK MASTINA PLAYED WELL
I just feel like shit that I put so much thought into this game and felt like I was doing a good job previously, was townread most of the game, was right on Nic-Dunn and then never got a chance to even
try
to close it out.
And it feels terribly unfair to say that there was no point in considering what I had to say.
I feel like that mod confirmation was unfair to you two as well, but I don't see what Schadd_ could have done differently other than not making the mistake in the first place.

Like there's a huge difference between played well, and played so amazingly perfectly unreadable that there was no chance of Ari/Tris ever listening to me.

I hadn't presented a case, I'd presented frustration.
I'd had like 3% of the time I needed for this game and I'm still IRL dealing with getting back into things after Thanksgiving.
I
hate
being treated like I couldn't have possibly had any valid reason for scumreading you just because I hadn't been able to put it into compelling words yet.

Oh, I meant like the
very
end of the game with Ari and Mastina. Long after you were dead and we've already talked that to death.
Happy to talk about our argument here or in private if you like, but I'd have to look back, I don't at this point even remember why I was annoyed.
Part of where you and I butted heads was with regard to the list of possibilities I remember, where you listed what I thought was the truth and dismissed it and it felt like you had a train of thought you just weren't going to get talked out of and I was sick of repeating my point, which is when I said I didn't care about your logic. I think the phrasing of that particularly inflamed things between us, but I meant it as a response to "what part of my logic don't you agree with?" or something like that you said and basically it was that the whole argument seemed pointless and frustrating to me and I was just done with it. But that's all a bit hazy this far out and I can't be bothered to look back unless it's important to you, in which case I can.
Feels like there was something else too but I seriously can't recall what it was so it can't have been that important in the long run.

I'm pretty sure he could have been talked out of the tunnel eventually. I don't buy this "had to be eliminated" line of reasoning at all.
That reminds me though, the other thing that was making the game frustrating was you answering for TGP. It really messed with my ability to get a read on TGP at the time. It really felt like you wouldn't let people interact with eachother in ways that didn't involve you and that was very frustrating in the game.

I mean it wasn't even about hunting. I like 70% expected to come out of talking to TGP with a townread, but I wanted to actually get that read at that stage in the game and you made it impossible.
And I understand that you were passionate about it, but Nic obviously wasn't actually scumclaiming. That's where I felt like there was just no point arguing about it because you weren't willing to really entertain the idea that it could be otherwise and I thought we'd sort of reached the point of... agreeing to disagree? on that?

If someone is clearly town, they shouldn't be eliminated no matter how badly they claim unless they're like lolhammering other town at every chance. I'd rather eliminate scum.
Although I admit, I don't feel too bad about DT, that did narrow the possible teams

Like it was a 90% chance, not a 0% chance. And as was said at the time, town is more likely than 50%
anyway
. He just thought his read was stronger than that, all game people kept coming back to have doubts on Dunn, and I don't think it was totally insane to do so.

I think you're absolutely wrong but I don't see any point to continuing this discussion.
To the earlier point, I'm not trying to be mean here but it does feel pointless to argue, and
inside a game
I'd probably be getting frustrated here as well. Because it feels like it comes more from your own strong opinions than anything else, but you present them as objective fact and can't be budged. And that can be frustrating and I think sometimes "agree to disagree" as much as it's a cliche, is actually the best option.
But it's so tempting to want to just go around in circles because SOMEONE IS WRONG ON THE INTERNET.

And I'm saying it's only necessary because you think it is. It isn't necessary to me and I think there are plenty of other players where that situation would have played out differently. Not trying to like blame you too much here, but I think a lot of the necessity of it comes from your own personality than from objective fact.
But there I go fighting the WRONG ON THE INTERNET fight for no reason.
