But you didn't state reasons either. I definitely agree it's in Town's best interests to state reasoning but I disagree on it being scummy. Even though they shouldn't, Town make naked votes pretty frequently - far too often to be able to just slap scumreads on everyone who does it. I mean, even you did it. If you're Town, you already have solid evidence that Town does it.
I didn't give a reason because I wanted to see if he would say anything about my lack of reason.

You vote me for sheeping while sheeping?
I agree with a lot of what Alchemist is posting (280) and didn't have much to add onto that, this is also making me see him as a townie.
I'd like to know what changed your vote from Alchemist to me?
In post 302, Something_Smart wrote:Because Mario seemed like an easy lynch and easy lynches that are town are prime places for scum to vote, especially when the overall state of the game is slow.
What makes you think he was an easy lynch? He only had two votes on him at that time and I unvoted shortly after.
VOTE: SS
He switches his votes from people to people with very little reasoning and his responses' to Alchemist seem like scum.
I originally townread you because I thought 184 was too weird to be scum, but I'm pretty sure that I had no idea what I was talking about. (Even if you are town, I think "too weird to be scum" is just something I wanted to be a thing and not actually a thing.) The change was brought on by the fact that there were reasons to townread basically everybody, and so some of them had to be invalid. (And yes Mario voting you did cause me to reevaluate AFTER I did the sheep vote. Don't dig deep into my chronological thought process unless you like confusing messes.)
Your scumread and vote on me is very weak. Like I mentioned almost all the votes on me (except for Alchemist's) are, but I don't really see much genuine-looking scumhunting from you in addition to that.
Finally, the way the wagons on you and me rose and fell makes me feel like we're not both town. If we were both town scum would have probably been able to push one of our wagons through without opening themselves up to a deadline wagon that could fall anywhere. (And plus your wagon at its highest in 329 is all town.)
I scumread you because your votes had very little reasoning behind them, such as your votes on BTD-6 and Gamma. Do you still find them scummy? What's changed?
As for your final point I don't understand how that leads to me being scum.
In post 455, iDanyboy wrote:Town - GE , Alchemist

What's your reason for BTD? I don't see anything about him in your ISO.

'I'm scumreading this person for doing X, but I'm going to do X to see if they scumread me for it'
- I'm sorry but I fail to see how this is helpful in the slightest, I think you're just full of crap here and are trying to cover your tracks.
I am awaiting the answer to this question. People who are not iDanyBoy may also answer it.
Something_Smart his vote seems random and it doesn't feel like his looking for scum
Ok cool, you gave some reasons. Why not vote for him now then? You weren't voting anyone else at this point. This feels like you're afraid to actually push forward with your 'read' which is a scummy thing to do.

You eventually voted him here, but this was 2 days and ~50 posts later.

Why did you feel the need to specifically quote Mario here just to make your point?
@Spoiler 3 I didn't find him scummy enough to vote at 282 but by 321 I felt my read was strong enough for a vote.
@Spoiler 4 I have given reasoning for 3 of them apart from BTD-6 already.
@Spoiler 5 Because that's my biggest concern with him and didn't want to present his reasoning as my own when I'm accusing BTD-6 of doing the same.

I don't understand how that is a 'flip-flop'. Your argument doesn't make sense.
Can you two tell me who you each believe to be scum (or town, doesn't matter)
and why
?
Right now you're purely posting to answer questions directed at you, lurking will not help us find scum.
Townreading Alchemist because he's been playing fairly actively steadily
I'm hella disengaged rn but I'll try to work it out and if I can't get into it I'll replace out

I think I got really caught up in finding inconsistencies that I didn't think about the motive of it enough, I want to get my thoughts straight for a bit, I feel I might be not making any sense.
It seems like everyone has 1/2 set scumreads and isn't really engaging with people other than the occasional questioning post. Town players, you need to start convincing me / others that your reads are correct and why. Simply saying 'It's in my ISO' doesn't help to further the game. Try to make your reads more solid if you can, I know personally, it'd help me a lot with distinguishing between disinterested town and lurking scum.
Inconsistencies can come from Town, but they can have a scum motivation. If someone exhibits lots of inconsistencies in the same manner as Dany, the motivation could be that they want to push someone and are looking for reasons, while they themselves exhibit those reasons. We have to examine whether Dany's reasons seemed genuine (in which case, why not follow them yourself?) or trying to search for reasoning to push.

Dany - I mostly didn't like how he was sheeping. I get that town often sheep too but how he sheeped a post that was just two posts above his seemed a bit strange to me. Maybe scum trying to fly under the radar by simply agreeing with the majority?
Also as mentioned by me earlier he has hardly given any reads and the ones that he did
give were town because they had claimed
. So not really all that helpful. Since that post I mentioned this in he had posted a reads list with
4 unexplained reads
then when
he was asked for an explanation for one of them he quoted MM4's read
which just makes me find him even more sheepy and unwilling to share his own thoughts.
Untrue, I have called Alchemist town and how I recently said I think Draynth is town
You have done the same so though, also 3/4 of those reads had already been explained by me and when asked about my 4th read I explained it.
I quoted MM4 because I didn't want to present his reasoning as my own but after the quote I did add my reasoning, I felt that quote explained it better though
So your suspicion on me comes from my sheepiness but you yourself say this could be town or mafia so what makes you think I was mafia sheeping and not town sheeping?
Right now I'm leaning towards voting BTD-6 but I would like him to answer my question first.
Why would you do what you scumread someone for, if you are just trying to see whether you will be scumread? Would someone scumreading you for not giving reasons (when you scumread others for the same) be indicative of Town or scum?
You were accusing me of passing off others' reasoning as my own. Were you deliberately trying to avoid it?
I've answered this questions already. VOTE: BDT-6
Asking questions that have already been asked so it looks like his scum hunting + ignoring my questions + my previous thoughts.

You said you like his reaction to the wagon but you have not commented on mine.
I disagree with Alchemists reasoning that Raya was going for a quicklynch, doesn't seem very strong to me.
I agree with Draynth though, the fact that her reads aren't changing is worrying.
There was no extended quickhammer on me. Scum may not have been able to be on at the same time but it is likely that they planned it out during the Night so they know when they are online. This makes iDanyBoy much more likely to be scum, as scum cannot hammer if they are already on the wagon.

I don't know what to say, BTD was my only scumread so I voted him. I don't see SS as his partner because he heavily pushed BTD yesterday and he could of been very likely lynched if it wasn't for Vedith voting for taco. This is the main reason I think is partner is Vedith, from the choice of BTD and Taco he chose taco who was town and now his townread on BTD isn't here anymore otherwise he would be voting me.
Btw my current thoughts are from most to least likely:
BTD6/Dany
BTD6/Vedith
BTD6/Alch
Dany/Alch
Also (to Dany but anyone can answer), do you think scum wanted me lynched? If so why?
This is my first game since 2012 and I was a different person then so I don't think I can answer that question.
Day 1 is the only time I think that scum would have wanted to lynch you, you haven't had much pressure put on you since then. I think this one that's most suspect is because of how quick the wagon built

Gj Guys, I found it very difficult to play scum, I just sheeped all game. Messed up day 1 and luckily survived then got baited by Vedith. Sorry Alchemist.
