Honestly....this set is really the first one where I've been legitimately upset at the cards in the new set. We've had like "op one strategy" and that was shitty but at least if you had dust you could either craft that strat or craft one of the side archtypes. This set is really frustrating because there is a must-have class legendary in every class(there are legit like...2 classes you can play the top deck in without having to craft the death knight) plus lich king is in every non-aggro deck and basically replaces ysera.

Okay they nerf those two cards, and knock druid way down the list, you don't even get enough dust to craft the must-have class orange for the deck you want to switch for, and God forbid you want to play paladin, cause all those decks have 3 or more class oranges in them.

I think I'm in the midst of a problem crazy arena run. 6-1 currently, probably gonna finish tomorrow. I'm confident that I can win 2-3 more at the very least.
Sunkeeper Tarim is a hideously op card in arena. Only thing I've yet to beat is a dk. But I think DK's are just free wins in any situation where the other person doesn't also have a DK.

Prior to KFT, I agree. But like..i'm legit like..6k dust from playing any priest deck. That's a lot of wins. I'm like 3600 out from warlock. Out a bit from warrior. Basically can only play mage, druid, and just crafted the legend for shaman

Why not just go hunter and just save gold for the new set and chase the shit out the new strong shit. In 3 months cthun, gadgetzan, and karazan are all rotating.
2x alley cat
2x tracking
2x razormaw
2x golakka crawler
2x hyena
2x animal companion
1x deadly shot
2x eaglehorn bow
2x stitched tracked
2x kill command
2x unleash the hounds
2x hound master
2x infested wolf
1x tundra rhino
2x highmane
2x bonemare
Or one of the gazillion cheap ass variations of that.
And if you like that deck you can eventually get rexxar, have you gotten your free death knight yet?

I have play wep, paly buff girl, rogue 0 cost stuff girl. Seriously considering dusting old stuff for the paly purple that's good and also crafting tarim or w/e

Right, it's hard to craft any of the paly legends because basically every deck has multi paly class legends. So like...if you don't already have tirion, why craft tarim, and if you don't have those you still need the charge divine shield guy. And control decks us rag. So like...boooo.

Corridor Creeper. Literally doesn't matter what you're playing right now, it should have a corridor creeper in it. Best 5 decks right now are basically pirate package + creeper + leeroy. Like put those like 9 cards in a deck. Select 21 cards that can go around it, hit play and you'll probably have something close to good. And even if you're running like...Dragon priest...take 2 cards out and put in corridor creeper

What makes a meta game fun for you? I'm typically just happy if there's a couple tier 1-2 aggro decks and/or decks that are low budget, so it never really registers if there's a meta that's more fun or less fun.
for example, I like this meta a lot right now cause I can play basically every class beside Priest and Mage because I have patches and corridor creeper and fill my dailies without really re-rolling.

Not enough sites carry info on Wild and as far as I know, most people never run wild, so I just keep playing standard. I think it helps that I kinda don't have the stuff that's tier 1 in wild

Dead man's hand is basically the same. Always dead man's hand with a dead man's hand in your hand, preferably also a coldlight oracle. Use your other spells to stop the bad men from killing you, repeat until they have no cards.

Things that I noticed climbing from 15 to 5 in like 5 days playing almost exclusively aggro druid. Cubelock matchup is not good but it's not nearly as bad as Big priest which felt like I was the mortor and they were the pestle. As long as you played around defile sufficiently and closed the game out before possessed lackey or before a hard cast 3/9 guy it was fine. The Barnes into obsidian dude into the discover revive from big is just oppressive for a swarm deck. Idk if how can check my own personal stats or if I needed a tracker to do that prior to playing, but I rarely lost to anything that wasn't priest or warlock. My deck rolled over against a Murdock paladin this morning, I got outvalued by a secret hunter once, and that was basically it. I think I was undefeated against aggro paladin, tempo rogue was typically too slow to deal with dudes + mark/power, face hunter got nothing (which is why I abandoned it), I feel like I didn't play any druids past 9-10 and the ones I did play were jade and got crushed. Oh I did split with mage. Either they did nothing and got rolled or they got their explosive runes out early enough to stop my wall of dudes then dropped their cheap 5/5 but it wasn't a discouraging match up by any means. Shaman and Warrior don't exist.
Of the priest, highlander was far and away the easiest match up and I only saw it a couple times, spiteful without dragons seemed to come up a bit and that was ezpz(or they just didn't draw their dudes), but the dragon decks with the 3/3 board wipe guy weren't a cake walk but weren't nearly as impossible as big.
Cubelock was probably 40-60. Crushed other warlocks.
I might build the pally deck and mess around cause I'm p sure I can't drop from 5, right?
Tl;Dr: if you're trying to grind today for your golden purple, try aggro druid because it as an even or better match up with everything beside the control warlock decks and big priest and if you have patches it's probably the cheapest deck by far(dust price cheap not like..cheese cheap)

Are we calling Face Hunter the "aggro" hunter? If so, it's nothing like secret hunter and I think it's the better deck of the two. Unfortunately though I think the best hunter deck might be the pre-Kobolds midrange hunter deck except it replaces kill command with flanking strike.

But it doesn't matter cause midrange is out classed by tempo rogue and face is outclassed by the druid and paladin aggto decks. The reason Face is not great is kinda the same reason pirate warrior is dead. Face is totally fine to get to 13ish with tho.

How? I don't mean to sound like shea, but like...put the mans on the ground, punch face. I'm not going to say I can get to 10 with basics or anything, but getting to 15 with any budget aggro deck shouldn't be a problem. After about a week most of the good players are already back past 10.

Okay, but ~30% of your games are going to be against bad players playing slow decks or decks heavily reliant on proper mulligans. Secret Mage, Dragon Priest, and Control Lock are going to be roughly 1/3rd of your games. Play around their bullshit. Another 14% is gonna be bad players playing highlander and jade. So that's just under half your games against decks that you should just storm through. The only decks with a large market share that are gonna out value you early are tempo rogue and aggro paladin..that's about 15% the res of the decks are just assorted bad stuff
In post 4651, DeathNote wrote:No not usually, I tend to draw patches too much as well. It depends on what I'm playing against too. Sometimes I trade patches into other zoo decks like the warlock one.
Yeah but if you just dusted things you could win more and get more dust. idk.
I have trouble dusting stuff too. It really depends on what it is. Like there's a lot of purple tech cards, that's like "we'll I'm not playing this now but maybe in the future?". Like Nerubian Reveler.

As an aside, hitting 5 everymonth IS like..500 dust....but even if you just hit 10 that's 200, + Brawls(there's been 4 since the new set) that 360 dust. Arena + Dailies should be able to make up the 440 dust p easy for those corridor creepers which are gonna be staples probably the rest of HS, both in standard, until rotation, and in wild.

I think the only time I complained about cards were the DKs cause the DKs were like mandatory for a while. Like right now I think deck prices are fine? I fine when the Legends to have are neutral. I think that's totally fine. Same with purples.
