It's not meant to alignment judge, it's meant to be neutral, although my guess is that scum would prefer randomness and PRICKS is anti-random.
But if you've got thoughts on it favouring scum then feel free.
Aren't towns on this site usually worse than random lynching?

The problem is when I'm obv.town the people who don't know me well side by scum and I end up being suspect.
When I'm town but not trying/wanting to obv.town the people who know me suspect me.
It's a damned if you do, damned it you don't kind of thing.
I feel you
There's a very distinct difference between my town game and my scum game, yet the lines really blur for people that don't really know me for some reason. I guess I'm just working from a different type of mafia theory than everyone else?

Effort is NAI when you can be lolkilled for just looking at someone wrong.
Scum are among those that haven't shot yet, those hiding behind the block, and coasters.
Scum have no reason to shoot unless they're about to be shot.
Scum have every reason to try to look as town as possible.
So, of course everyone who was shot for lolshooting is town (barring not_mafia, who would do that as either faction). Why wouldn't they?
If I was scum, of course I'd hide behind the 'townblock' and try to effort up as much as possible. That's literally a free incentive to not be lolshot.
Of course some people don't do that as scum, so they are coasting too. I imagine a chunk of these people who don't have strong reads on them are scum as well, but these are the ones that are going to get culled anyways.
The reason town is probably going to lose this game is because people are wrongfully cleared.

TBH I regret playing while I was really tired
I'd probably still be alive, but even otherwise if I was thinking more clearly, I would've shot lovebird after her second or third post responding to me. It didn't hit me how scummy they were until after I was already dead.

Scum are playing to their win condition, town are not, it's fairly simple. Lolshooting is a towntell, but it's not helping town win, and as you say, scum aren't going to loshoot, so the only way to even the odds is to get town to stop lolshooting.
Town isn't playing to their win condition because they're trying to enforce an unenforceable system.
People are going to shoot because it's
SMART
to have a hair trigger in this game. It's smart to blow your kill on a scumread if you believe someone is looking to shoot you. If you're pretty certain you're not going to survive, then it doesn't matter if your target is part of a club that retaliates shots.
All that the system really does is provide a fake cushion against being shot. Scum are going to be looking to get into that block because they're going to be much more safe since less people are looking to shoot them. So in all actuality, town's real win condition is to set that up and then destroy it if it's used at all, because treating it like a townblock is asking for town to lose.

I'm seeing a lot of people being townread because effort and scumread because no effort.

So you can try to organize things, but ultimately the people that are going to support only shooting based on the consensus is never going to be realistically able to eliminate everyone else before there's not much left to have a consensus on.

And, well... all I'm really saying is that this organization is not going to have a significant effect before it's too late because you need to cull everyone who's going to go against it, which is going to be mostly town.

People are probably going to go against it because either they want to lolshoot, they want to shoot their scumreads and don't care what anyone else thinks, they don't like the idea of it in general, or they think it's scum-dominated.
Basically, you have to get everybody that's in category #1 and #3 gone. Category #4 will need to go too since they're going to thin out the people willing to go along with it.
