Also in general thank you so much for dragging me into this madness, and for being so reliable throughout and doing all this work. I'm looking forward to the game starting, too.
No you were right they were inconsistent in places but I fixed it. Are you ok to transfer the role PMs across? I'm happy with them now.
I'm also excited! I'm currently using Meme Generator as Photoshop for a really blursed image

Oh ok I can add Flavour into the flip versions also. Shall we have an image in there as well? I always think it's more fun that way, but I'll need a bit of time.

I realised something by the way, with some of the Mutineer flavour it mentions the names of the other Mutineer roles. Am I ok to just redact them in the flip versions?

I just realised that the some of the Role PMs mention the Captain, which is information the reviewers didn't approve. I think it needs to be taken out
I should really have realised this earlier I'm sorry
To answer your original question, none of the Cook PM should be redacted on flip except mentions of words like Captain which ideally shouldn't be there at all
I can do this quickly if you want. So none of the Mutineers should know about the Captain

In post 29, Aisa wrote:I'm definitely not getting all the setting done as I will go to bed pretty soon, but I will continue doing it tomorrow morning. The images you found look good. If you happen to be bored, there are a lot of Role PMs that need to have information plugged into the square brackets (e.g. substitute [Cabin Boy] with Enchant)
But I can sort tomorrow morning if not

I thought of another thing. If we leave the town roles unredacted, when the Captain dies everyone will know their 'informed' thing that there is at least 1 roleblocking role in the game. Granted, this isn't that important, but still.
Ok seriously going to bed now. Do you what you feel like and please don't feel like you have to stay up late to do a lot of work. I'll fix what's missing tomorrow.

I'm having one last thought about the Boatswain. Mechanically, they visit a player each night, right? The flavour I wrote involves them coercing someone to take their place in their cabin, but I'm worried that will confuse the player in the event of a Lookout claim with information that they visited or something. Should I rewrite the flavour, or just add in a note that mechanically they are the one visiting?
I think Mala will make for a wonderful Cook. She confirmed saying "sweeet" and I nearly slipped by telling her that she indeed had the coolest role in the game. But I didn't because *big brain move*
large cranium
Can't wait to set sail. For votecounts, I'm thinking maybe some YT links to piratey music? Pirates of the caribbean etc lol

I've PMed T-Bone about getting you moderator access to the main thread, hopefully this will be sorted soon. Feel free to post VCs etc whenever you like.
Thanks, and thanks for putting in a lot of time to make this game happen.

I think the best case scenario for Mutineers today might just be a STD elim more than a KJ elim, because players might lose faith in KJ after STD flips. If KJ flips today, people will probably sheep their reads a bit (but might vote STD in that case as well)

Everyone seems to be agreeing that it doesn't really work here. I like the way he approaches the game psychologically though, interesting that some general scumtells exist.

Quick note for the flavour, I left [Player] and [them] or equivalent in. It's vital that you replace these with the name because if not then people might think the vote was T/T

This way the Lookout can potentially pick up the action if they are watching the right person. (IMO it's a good thing to require in closed setups even if it doesn't matter, to avoid giving scum the information that it doesn't matter.)
Oh right and the mutineers have multitasking, which would be redundant if the Black Spot was performed through some sort of mystic witchcraft rather than one of the mutineers delivering it themselves.

You should probably message Bellaphant asking for a target in ~ 7 hours.
P.S. Is it standard practice to freeze the deadline at 48 hours when replacing a player, including moving the deadline back? I was saddened by the delay to the game restarting.

Subject: HMS Mutiny - The Black Spot!
Also what do you want to do if people decide to hammer test the person who is black spotted? My current best guess is post a VC as a tacit acknowledgement that the slot has enough votes that they would otherwise be eliminated, do nothing else
No, it has to be that the person dying can be hammered and this ends the day. This is so that ccing being targeted is a valid strategy

Black spot is meant to be a letter, maybe say you're given a letter with the black spot. I think 'you will die at the end of the day' still leaves room for a Medic-style fakeclaim

By does nothing, I meant it kills them, because they would die anyway
