I highly doubt that. ranger wasn't scummy and this kill was horrible for the gameday. if it was an actual townie it'd at least kill someone scummy.

I also think ranger died for her reads. and died by scum. that means especifically that porkens (a slot no one is really townreading) is more likely than not to be scum.

flipping scummy people ensures our control of the game. when we kill scum, we remove their powers. when we don't we shred the POE and have a sense of where to go next. it's the best course of action IMO.

that's sound logic but I think bad shit can happen with this 'lets clear people by giving them one shot actions', we end up giving scum powers and scum controls the game's mechanics. and there's scum here, which is why I think giving FN can lead to scum controlling even more things since they already control the hood.

as an intentional additional soft and to agree that giving you a vig is a decent idea based on what I think it means.

But I don't understand why exactly you don't think scum will kill Kyoko if we give her the vig?

its not someone they'd normally kill based off how d1 went, so if scum kills kyoko after we agreed to give her a vig then we know we have scum inside the pool of players inside the hood. and tbh I say we flip MT if kyoko dies tonight.

with my information I can tell you that leashing it to flea is gonna provide us extra information and not less, and I can't explain more - not even here at this moment

But if you don't wanna trust me with that clause, you can just let them target whoever they want and you still get a result worth of a parity cop.

we just gotta watch enchant if we do have a watcher to make sure he wont be blocked/die in process. That same issue exists with vig too cause if the scum seeing this chat they know exactly who is getting vig etc

I do have this small concern that gimli did the whole lets give gun to kyoko to buy my trust and that he is mind gaming us all to give vig to him and I think FN is safer option overall.

But that paranoia aside I actually find him trying to give me gun really towny by nature.

If we give you the gun I have ways to make sure you'll live to see D2.

If we give me the gun I might die - but bring mafia with me, or something to that effect

I planned around my role and my softs to be in this spot and get the gun. I'm with something that's negative utility at face value, and clearing myself with a precise shot while mafia won't know if they can or can't target me at night is how I intend on extracting the most value out of it. Of course, that's my plan since the very beginning of the game, so I'm motivated to have it. But we can do FN as well...
