I feel like later games even thought they have started introducing less (I believe the last two generations introduced less than gen 2, which was 100), they have consistently more inventive designs. And I feel like people talking about "oh this thing is just an anthropomorphized real life inanimate object" when complaining about newer pokemon don't acknowledge that 1) they are actually pretty cool sometimes, like Vanillish insiring ice cream in the Pokemon world or Klefki's tricksterism, which I kinda feel refers to the habit of some people to lose their keys. and 2) early generations aren't much more inventive if they even are more inventive. I mean they had two pokemon designed off pokeballs, cmon (and yes foongus/amoongus are the same thing and honestly I dislike them for basically being an excuse for pokemon co to do the same bait and switching they like to do). I will say that the last two genrations kinda feel a bit shallow imo though. In post 1865, Ausuka wrote:I never played either of those tbh. I've heard they're like gen 1 but with less glitches and more content, which admittedly does sound good. I also think variety of pokemon is very good though, and the later games obviously have a lot more of that.
kinda agreed, much less stressful unless you're doing pokeathlon, I've destroyed DSes going overboard on thatIn post 1866, Ausuka wrote:

1778 is what's bothering me. There's no rhyme or reason as to who they ISO'd, and the fact that they can make a read on texcat while not being able to say anything on higher impact players like egg just shows an inability to fake transparency to me. I definitely like my other two scum reads more, but I am still not a fan of nictis's play.In post 1854, Gamma Emerald wrote:
