Now we need to find New piratemollie, New nacho, and New ETL, then shoot piratemollie for being a filthy traitor who shot nacho. This is a Parachute.-

VOTE: Realeo
Someone hammer before he posts.
See the first iteration. The goal of team cyclops is to not kill in team cyclops until team cyclops is the only remaining portion of town. None of you are traitors so there's no reason to abandon that philosophy until we've murderlated all the nonbelievers. Until that point, I endorse continuing to whittle at people who will not claim allegiance to team Cyclops to ensure a team cyclops win. (At least if I don't win, a member of my alliance will and all that.)
We can choose to schism or not at a later point, but for tonight, I think we should just all pick one of the people not on the team to murder and someone on the team to protect. Randomly, just to give the filthy monsters who haven't pledged to my flag a chance to pledge to my flag before we kill them. Given the impending realeo lynch (we have majority, lol) we should be able to take most of if not all of the nonbelievers out tonight. Keeping things random means they can't organize to push any specific kill through pretty much guaranteeing they random into the mass of bodies we've presented and keeping the largest number of Team Cyclops members possible alive. This is a Parachute.-

After all the nonbelievers in ourcultcool party of fun people have beendealt with in a gentle and fair mannerstabbed to death, we should just randomly kill and protect. That way we chip away at our playerlist slowly until we manage a truly random circle kill, ensuring the maximum number of Team Cyclops members win. This also has the benefit of meaning we develop an emotional attachment and comraderie meaning we can have some measure of trust for the prisoner's dilemma at the end, resulting in lower chances of a cross kill screwing us over by letting non Cyclopes into the victory. Death to the non Cyclopes, etc. etc.
FOLLOW ME TO A BLOODY VICTORY OVER PEOPLE WHO WERE RANDOMLY DETERMINED TO BE AGAINST US BY NOT THROWING THEIR NAMES INTO THE RING FAST ENOUGH WHEN THE CLEARLY SUPERIOR ALLIANCE FORMED!This is a Parachute.-

The fact that none of the people in the alliance died is a pretty good indicator that the people in the alliance all protected each other and shot outwards. Everyone outside of the alliance should have been shooting into it from an EV standpoint. In post 126, TesXX wrote:Should we out our night actions? This is a Parachute.-

Cause optimal day strategy in this game is to lynch people unlikely to get shot, but at this point, in the interest of fostering a chance of succeeding in the prisoner's dilemma/random circle kill we really only need to lynch anyone not on Team Cyclops. And we have 5 Team Cyclops members which means we can force any lynch through. Delaying doesn't really do anything. In post 154, TheBrie wrote: Why are we killing Realo? Is it because he lurks?
And Realeo already has 3 votes on him. This is a Parachute.-

Ah. You think I'm going to support a schism and build a new team. That's a faulty assumption and therefore your question is irrelevant. On the other hand, I don't particularly mind answering given the irrelevancy of the topic, so skittles are marginally better but candy itself just isn't my cup of tea. I much prefer fruit. In post 220, TesXX wrote:Jingle and random pls answer my question it's vry important
First thing's first, I didn't follow the worst's plan yesterday, but I did so in a way designed to benefit the group.
A circle protect means we all have one protect. If the two outside our group had cross protected, then EVERYONE would be at 1 protect and thus have a supercharged kill, meaning 1-2 of our members should have died.
Instead, I protected the worst, because I thought he was the most likely NK target for both of the outsiders. The worst had the superkill, and no one should have been able to guess that there was an unprotected member of the group. It paid off.
I considered posting all of this yesterday and proposing a plan to counter the issue, but I realized there was a better EV if only one person didn't follow the plan and if no one else brought it up there was a good chance no one else realized the problem.
From there, we need to look at the 3 possibilities from this point:
1: We arrive at the prisoner's dilemma. My entire goal up to this point has been to establish a level of trust between our team so that we can have a reasonable chance of winning a prisoner's dilemma with each other. Remember, the choice isn't whether you win or lose, but rather if the other half of your pair wins or loses. And I think at this point there is enough camaraderie that we can trust each other to have a mutual truce decision.
2: We randomly arrive at a circle kill. This is easily the best result for the most people, in that we have a chance (albeit a small one) of the entire Team Cyclops each choosing a different other member of Team Cyclops to kill. In this case, PF may give us all the joint win, like he did in the first iteration of Everyone's an SK. This is my preferred outcome, and the goal of my plan. Note, the big problem with this is that any attempt to coordinate kills for this end will result in us all dying and losing as a breach of the rules.
3: We arrive at the final three. Of course, here, someone has the chance to choose to die to allow the prisoner's dilemma, but that's stupid. Instead, anyone in this situation should no lynch and kill randomly. Any attempt to lynch one of the three will likely backfire by making the prisoner's dilemma unwinnable for Team Cyclops. Any attempt at kill coordination leads to the same place.
Okay, so the plan.
Random's lynch strategy not only immediately precludes every one of us winning, but just creates a chance wherein we don't trust each other and cannot win the Prisoner's Dilemma, and creating a schism presents the same issue if there isn't a clear winner of the schism, an unlikely prospect with the low numbers teams are likely to have.
Besides, think of the glory if it works! This is a Parachute.-

Not really. We have a plan for the end of days. We have enough canned beans to last us at least five minutes, and enough people to fend off at least three starving zombies.
I'm pretty satisfied with the gamestate. Now we just gotta wait.

Given that there's no reason not to start planning as soon as the signups open and we can talk at night, night start just makes sense.
RB being more in line with actual SK play is also true, although being convincing enough town to pull the doc protect is like the best SK play possible. This is a Parachute.-

I think switching the protect for a roleblock for people targeting you is a good choice, both thematically and strategically. It doesn’t encourage team play to the same extent as the protects do, and adds an element of strategy in that you’re guessing who percieves you to be a threat. Having it be just the one that everyone gets would be fine though, and doesn’t change much about the setup. Maybe run the one you just posted, and then try the roleblock one the iteration after that? This is a Parachute.-
