How do you feel about the pace of the profii wagon and eventual collapse vs. the lightning speed of the Ico wagon?

Profii was a harder vote because you had to justify that- it was early and profii wasn't lurking. By the end of the day, nobody cared and you could just hop on the Ico wagon and get the lynch. Also there were tons of scum hopping on Icon at the end probably. Like I think there is 2+ scum in {Koki, Porkens, Chick, Mom} probably koki and porkens.

See I used to think things like that was scum-indicative too but now I don't think it is. I've got burned too many times on that scumtell. Like in Mini 1929 WhyMafia posted this and I was so sure he was scum because most of the stuff he was pushing me for wasn't even CLOSE to scum-indicative, and he was clearly just going through my ISO to find things to push me on, but he was town anyway. I think it's definitely a pretty common thing for town to go through an ISO and find things to push when they see that what they have currently isn't enough to get the lynch they want.

He didn't make any serious effort to save porkens. He knew that the lynch was going through and he knew the reasons behind it. All he did was say "I think this is town" so he could try to reap that for towncred later. the lynch on porkens was ok, even good; the slot was permanently tainted by the fact he was RBd n1 and there was a nokill, he had claimed negative utility, he had replaced out and the replacement was left in a terrible position, and his play was scummy independently of all that IMO.

Can you explain what you're saying again? because this makes no sense to me. Are you trying to say that you HAVE to have the selfvote as alignment indicative, and you arbritrarily said it was town? That's the closest thing I can get to an actual thought but that doesn't actually make sense either, coming from either alignment.

I don't think {Nero/Koki} is SvS and because I strongly believe Koki is scum, I believe nero is town. I don't think the hammer on porkens on scummy; there was a soft guilty on his slot which never would have gone away, and he had replaced out. there's no reason to make a replacement replace in to a pretty hopeless spot.

I mean under normal circumstances I'd agree with that, but d2 was kinda different- I don't think it's scummy to hammer there and I think the players who voted Pork to L-1 within hours would agree.

But also, why is koki scum outside of antitown behavior

The selfvote gambit was just a trick, not antitown behaviour. He pretended to be fustrated at his wagon, but at the same time, he said literally everyone on his wagon was scum. That's a contradiction. I KNEW it was a gambit, and I KNEW he would unvote, I called him out as soon as he selfvoted, and sure enough, after everyone had decided he was bad town like he intended, he unvoted himself.

He was posturing on porkens d2- he said "still think the slot is town" but didn't make any serious effort to save him. He saw the wagon go to L-1, he knew the lynch was happening, he knew why it was happening, but he chose to just say "Oh he's probably still town" and not actually try to save the slot. Yet still, he's been saying things like "Porkens was obvious town" and "Nero scumreads me,but flashhammers town cop" d3, as if he was the saviour of porkens- even though he let porkens die.

Also, he's been scummy since gamestart; he pretended to have no reads for a very large portion of the early game, which is suspicious to me. Of course, reads are weak at this point, but I find it hard to believe that he has NO reads on page 7. I think it's more likely that in the early game, he thought that because of the 1 month deadline, scum should lurk to cause apathy and stagnation.

Assuming this is to me; yes, scum can defend their partners in that way. Your protection of Koki wasn't scummy in the way profii's was, because you didn't try and justify it with nonsense. Nero is town because he was the counterwagon to Koki scum.

pedit: The reason I don't think you're scum right now is only because of your interactions with profii d1 which don't make sense coming from scum with profii, and because of how profii interacted with Koki he is very scummy to me. You've been pushing Nero since you first voted him in post 802, but that was after the Koki wagon had already got to 3 votes. You said that you "Wouldn't be surprised" if nero was scum, "but I'm not holding my breath." That doesn't really seem like a SR to me- the vote and push starts coming after the Koki wagon started.

Town synergy is probably one of the most powerful things there is. Of course, this is a completely random thing, but if all the members of the neighbourhood are clear or widely townread, neighbourhoods can become very powerful, as town can bounce reads and ideas off each other. There can't be hard evidence of this but I think it's something to consider.

Yes, I know that scum can quickhammer in LYLO. We're not realistically ever going to get out of LYLO, and we can't just sit here doing nothing forever. And caution isn't the scummy thing, running down the timer by posting like one post of catchup per day while presumably waiting for a town crossvote is scummy. I would have voted someone already, but since I'm practically conftown, that's hugely suboptimal. Like, the day started over a week ago. There were three weeks at the start of d4. That means we're going to spend MORE time today than on future days where we should be analysing more and better with a scumflip. Don't you see why this is problematic? So that's why I'm doing this. I just want you to vote somebody, and then I can decide if that's a better lynch than you, and then we have a higher chance of getting a scumflip and being able to do more productive things tomorrow.

I don't really think this game was townsided? 1-shot cop and 1-shot vig gives 2-3 clears, doc maybe 1-2, so if town plays very optimally they CAN get a lot of clears, but I think most of the time this power just collapses, like it did in this game.
