I’ve said a similar thing as scum that they did to attempt to pocket someone, and then moving off of both Kokichi/Espeonage, when Espe is picking up steam comes off as scummy to me. Extremely. It’s like they are projecting a neutral stance while actually bailing out Espeonage, if that makes sense. It’s a little bit preflippy, but by looking at the game, I don’t think it was too hard to see Espeonage was likely going to surpass Kokichi anyways as leading wagon, so The Worst being neutral about it is really off putting for me.

If Kokichi/Espeonage is T/T, then that’s actually a risky move. I guess it just matters if you think a no lynch helps scum or not. I typically like to get mislynches when I’m scum rather than a no lynch in day 1 situations.
