@Pine: that makes sense. We didn't have strong feelings about which game we got. I was interested in the unlimited voting mechanic but the normal would've been fine too and I wanted to see the playerlist first but then I still didn't care all that much once I saw it. What did you submit though in your PT, when pregame you had to say whether you wanted 1st or 2nd and then you had to say who would have played which game if you got 1st pick instead?

The question is what you submitted, that bit in bold. If you didn't get 2nd pick like you wanted because the draft went unfavourably, what game would the mods have placed each of you in?

That's not how that worked?

We chose second draft specifically so we wouldn't have to make that decision. We put "n/a" in that choice slot.

We didn't decide who would go to which game until we saw the 1st choice make-up. We both still preferred the Normal, so the chivalry that was drilled into me as a kid kicked in and I offered to take the Open.

I'm not sure why you read the rules wrong.
