i don't understand why the group that you're most confident has scum is the group who has a single person whose posts you don't like, a person whose "ISO has nothing that makes [you] lean either way", me who you're apparently not sure about, and DV, who was "not super impressive".

explain this for me? i hope you see how it's reasonable that i'd assume that group 1 wasn't your most confident given the way you're describing things.

Sure I see where you're coming from. The way I see (or rather saw) it was that there was no one in group 1 who I thought was townish while in 2 Koki and Wis lean town for me and in 3 RMOJ and zMuffin. Thus most likely to be at least one scum in the null/lean scum crowd of 1. Basically PoE.

But based on voting behavior I'm a little paranoid about lynching group 3 because several have expressed interest in doing so. Also I can't shake the feeling that group 2 was purposefully made the largest group. I mean yeah it's the most even split you can get which also may suggest 1/1/1 split, but still they put an interesting combination of players in it and I just don't think it was random. Group 1 is the least active in general which makes it difficult to deal with. Unlike a normal game I don't think scum would want to avoid the discussion here as much as in a normal game. I'm inclined to townread the inactivity.

The other thing that makes me not want to lynch group 3 is that my scumread on RMOJ sort of depends on him having a partner in group 3. If there is only 1 scum in group 3 then it most likely isn't him. Because I don't think he would have been so explicit about voting for his own group if he were alone in there. I think if scum he is using a mix of reverse psychology and wifom to make us avoid voting for group 3; and I just don't think it's worth the risk to do so unless there are 2 scum in group 3.

@zMuff...at this point in the game you absolutely are advocating a policy lynch on DV. You want him lynched (and therfore his group as well) solely on the basis of being DV. @Wisdom...what does the lack of Group 2 suspicions signal to you? Depending on the distribution of scum...scum could be completely indifferent to which group goes and just go with the flow. And town just might not be suspecting your group. Koki seems to be the only one really getting negative attention in your group. From non-G2 town's pov is eliminating Koki worth losing you or BuJaber or Pine? I don't have any recollection of riku so not sure if he is save worthy. Your group imo would only be worth consideration if there was reason to believe there was 2 scum in it. (I see you discuss this later but I'll leave my comments fwiw).

I was agreeing with BuJaber's post 167 until he annointed me scum for being a late poster. What do you mean by late poster? Actually being late to enter the game or lack of posting? Both of which for me would be lacking due to the game starting on a weekend evening and my general lack of mafia'ing over any given weekend. I.e. being shaded for NAI (for me at least) stuff is shady. That said...BuJaber seems town.

And again...@BuJaber...how have you convinced yourself there is scum in G1...and if so...I think the math at the bottom of your post is wrong. If you think there is for sure 1 (or 2 even) scum in G1...then wouldn't there be a 1 in 2 chance one of the remaining groups would contain 0 scum?

I think G3 could have 2 scum in it.
I think G2 probably has 1. Having the most people in it is too wifomy imo to consider G2 for 2 scum. I don't think scum would do that. If there is a scum distro other than 1-1-1 (which my G1 reads would indicate) then I think the 2 would be in G3.

Still like my G3 vote.
