I had reasons I'd still rather not go into, but they were already based on one or two assumptions and as the game goes on I'm feeling less confident on what I thought I saw from Tchill at first.

This is an individual account, not a hydra, and given that they are new they don't have the ability to even make PTs.

Where is he making these separate posts properly forum formatted to be posted together when, if he's town, doesn't have access to any MS PTs?
Why is he taking so long and waiting to post everything together in the first place? What reasoning makes sense there besides him being scum who was holding off to let his team critique his posting?

Town has zero motivation to delay responses until later since clearly he had written these well in advance of 2:23- scum who is getting scumread because of their bad play and wanting team support does.

GiF has much the same philosophy as I do when it comes to balancing games. Punish towns who think they can outguess the mod about what alignment a specific role is, but still leave enough synergy in the game that it comes out in the post how everything works together. Both scum and town millers are entirely possible here. The miller claim itself is null.

RC, can you dig up links to the games with 2 town millers when you get a chance, btw. I want to check something.

How do the Miller claims line up with Kaede's and RMOJ's roles here based on this mod philosophy? 2 millers which could be cleared on mod Meta (and at least one on flavor) plus an IC plus a role that makes a second IC (and confirms itself with it) seems like a lot in my opinion for an 18-p game.

we get first part of quest done less painfully and go from there, anyone hammering today except Impo should be punished by sending them to graveyard without any questions asked

Reasoning on Tchill:

Town has, presumably, a full protective role, given the lack of kill last night and the obvious choices for whom to kill. We're a bulletproof. From a utility standpoint, Tchill might as well have claimed conditional bulletproof. We have a missing kill, and my role all but confirms that there is a scum protective role by it's wording.

That is 4 theoretical protective roles, removing literally half of the reason for GiF to include a scum protection in the first place. Furthermore, the way in which Tchill claimed immediately removed all town utility (preventing a nightkill) from the slot with no reasoning. He has 0 town utility, isn't impacting the game, and MAJOR scum equity. He can't be resolved by night actions. He isn't resolving himself through play. And unlike the miller claims, he can't be resolved by vigging him.

But more importantly, we need to get the quest fulfillment out of the way.

So I've gone through this like you asked, and this sounds pretty reasonable.

I don't think Tchill is scum. Since people are spewing NRG secrets anyway, there was a long debate over what a hider actually is and we came to the conclusion that the hider itself is hiding behind and dying if target dies. Weak is separate. This discussion that we were having in the NRG ended up leaking to FG's D&D discord where GIF is a member and he even threw some comments in shortly before this game went to queue. Him being town with that hider role actually makes a ton of sense as a result and that's the main reason that I've been averse to his lynch for most of the game.

I also think that the specific manner of the claim is tonally highly indicative of town even if I'm not willing to call him confirmed town.

Like in the end I see Tchill as fundamentally a lurker lynch and I'm not super enthusiastic about lurker lynches when there's people with scum equity, so~
If we were to lynch not!Wilky there's lots of better not!Wilky choices, but I still think that we should powertrain Wilky.

One more parting shot before I get back to actually being productive.

RC agrees I'm likely the vig based on the kill last night. I am presumably going to be targeted by a cop who CANNOT target another player. RC is still attempting to policy lynch me because I'm opposing a lynch on a player that in his own words he's not 100% on for ONE DAY. Not even to guarantee a lynch on my own suspect, although I think such a lynch is clearly the best course of action for town. I'd be fine with scumhunting and finding a different candidate.

RC is, at best, antitown at the moment because he cannot stand that I don't worship the ground he stands on, and until his behavior shifts substantially I'm going to stop trying to work with him.

Actually I kind of lied there.

What I think happened is that you're scum who knew your team was in a shitty position so you made a nightkill that you could pass off as vig and claimed bulletproof gated vig to justify not dying and to justify not having to have any more vig kills. There's many ways around RMOJ including him being a scumpartner (less likely), you having a one shot strongman who is possibly even Wilky specifically (more likely), or you just flat out being a godfather which is extremely likely to exist based on the role that allows you guys to switch roles around.

I was just giving you the day off because I have better things to do, if Wilky flips scum you are going to be murdered ruthlessly regardless of what else happens.
