Well I don't want to hold onto childish grudges, and if I kept tunneling on you I wasn't going to get us anywhere was I?In post 400, BlueBloodedToffee wrote:At which point he decided to leave it and move onto pastures new (despite the read only changing slightly [his words]).-

Go back, & read it again. He didn't push to lynch you explicitly. He calls you a scumread once, but his push is framed mostly as a device to make you stop "withholding information." It's the same kind of push he made before he got called out.
À propos calling him out: there were several of us who didn't like his push. So I don't get that aspect either.
At which point should've his push succeeded? I voted him in 110, if he hadn't acted the way he did, I'd probably still be voting him, I guess.-

Well, if you believed in the read you had, what does it matter?
Unless you're saying you're entire read on me was 'I don't like this guy so he has to be scum'?

Well no I felt the fact that you were straying away from giving a simple explanation of a read was too scummy for me to ignore. However after a lot of attempts to pressure this information out of you it seemed like a fruitless venture, and so it was better for me to get information out of other players than to try and pry it out of you.In post 406, BlueBloodedToffee wrote:Well, if you believed in the read you had, what does it matter?

in my case there's too much game narration in 211 for my likingIn post 408, BlueBloodedToffee wrote:Also, can someone talk to me about the Performer wagon because I don't get it.
doesnt show much if any willingness to engage people, just runs with his assumptions. essentially talks about the players in the game like we're just characters on a TV screen. it's a detached mindset that flips scum more often than townretired...?-

Just because I read you as scum doesn't mean I want to lynch you yet. Whilst I hate to admit it, it's a much weaker read than it was, and I want to see what else you can bring to the table before I jump to any more conclusions on you.In post 412, BlueBloodedToffee wrote:Yet you retained the read.
How are you planning on lynching scum!BBT playing in this way?
PEdit - Above @BV.
Will reread that now Wave.
Also, even if I did have some master plan of lynching you, why would I tell you? Wouldn't that kind of, ya know, ruin the plan?-

Yeah, 211 doesn't read badly to me at all but I understand the 'game narration' comment. There is a lot of that in the post but it is mixed with some reads/thoughts as well.
I don't have a strong enough reason to town read Performer (and thus fight his wagon) but that post isn't enough for me to understand how he is the leading wagon either. He needs to get in this game so we can get more from him.Meta this. Meta that. Meta Everything. Meta is not a good scum-hunting tool. PEOPLE CAN MANIPULATE THEIR META. Stop it. Stop. It. Now.-

his interpretation wrt to the byron debacle looks like he's trying to play it too safe. he should have had some stance on one of you two.In post 416, BlueBloodedToffee wrote:I don't have a strong enough reason to town read Performer (and thus fight his wagon) but that post isn't enough for me to understand how he is the leading wagon either. He did. He said he saw that I thought Byron was scum but didn't see why.
Is that your only (and thus best) reasoning for what is your top scum read on page 17?
Or you got something else to share?Meta this. Meta that. Meta Everything. Meta is not a good scum-hunting tool. PEOPLE CAN MANIPULATE THEIR META. Stop it. Stop. It. Now.-

Well yeah but that doesn't change the fact he had a null stance on both of us. Usually at the end of a debacle like that some strong opinions will be made, and at least one of the two will have shifted from simply a null read. That didn't happen with Performer, which naturally is going to raise some question marks.BlueBloodedToffee wrote:He did. He said he saw that I thought Byron was scum but didn't see why.

Is that a stance to you? That doesn't mean anything. He made no conclusions as to the probable alignments of either of you. "I dunno" is not a stance. In post 420, BlueBloodedToffee wrote:He did. He said he saw that I thought Byron was scum but didn't see why.-

I mean, you're sitting on his wagon as he is a leading candidate for lynch and showing no signs of going elsewhere.
