What specifically do you feel is an attempt to buddy her and why does he even feel the need to?

Everything about his read feels manufactured.

Why does scum feel the need to buddy? Why wouldn't they? It's a valid scum tactic. Also, if Kaede is who I think she is, then she has shown herself to be susceptible to being buddied anyway.

well that was your fault for thinking a post devoid of emotion have any.
If you want scum posting from me that is not devoid of emotion you'd just have to look at Perpetual Mylo, more specifically my interactions Day 3 (or was it 4?), and the only way those ever happen is because im drawing the emotion from somewhere else.

I can see one goon but it's clear main characters are pr roles and this mech is to help scum it's a balance yes it can land on scum but still overall it helps them. Set up spec is not the best on day 1 though.

Easy, one of the things I always do as scum is ENCOURAGE my teammates to bus me, at their earliest convenience, coz when i roll scum all I want is to out ASAP.
