If I theorize that the gladiator pick relates to how scum view the person they picked, and everyone views Not_Mafia in the same way, then that pick makes my thoughts irrelevant.

Regardless of whether NM is town or not, He is the only who is able to make this game move, If we suspect he is delaying the game as a scum tactic he is one of the vote-able parties regardless.
