Yeah, so do I
But that doesn’t mean that when I don’t like the lynches for the day, I don’t go pick a lurker I don’t like and tell everyone to flashwagon them
That helps town about zero.
You know what else helps town about zero? Forcing a dichotomy between two town players and saying "well we have to kill one of them"

I'd rather have better options thanks

I gave a lynch pool of 4 if you were paying attention. Taly/Hit/Dram/Flubber.
And beyond that, not everyone agrees with your reads on those slots
Which is not saying your reads are bad
But saying that anyone’s forcing anything is false
We have a impending deadline
The last thing Town needs is to muddy things up with a bunch of flashwagons
What you’re basically doing is “I don’t like any of the viable lynches right now, I’m gonna kill someone else instead”
Which is worse than your accusation
Because at least we’ve got association and discussion around the lynchpool we have
For xyzzy we have nothing
So on the chance that you know, you happen to be wrong (or even if you’re right), you’re basically taking us into D2 cold
Which only benefits scum

I’m sorry, but no one appreciates being treated like dirt when pressing a read. It’s only being done to piss people off so reads can be blown off, and it’s ridiculous.

@Mod
so Pine sees this.
dramonic has been toeing the line of getting warned, but has not crossed it, in my opinion. Everyone simmer down. Mafia is adversarial by nature, but does not need to get personal - this goes for both those giving offense, and those who take offense too easily.

This dram claim reads like scum trying to slip out of a bad situation
And I’m starting to lean toward Hit being lynchbait
But tbh, Hit’s probably going to give us the most info to work off of at this point

==> Vote Count 1.7 <==

With 17 votes in play, it's 9 to lynch!

Image

It's crunch time. Once-mighty blue has been reduced to the South American continent. On their turn, blue reinforces their position mightily, with their last remaining cards. Sizing up their targets carefully, the blue team strikes northward, taking Central America to weaken yellow. Green starts its turn disadvantaged. It holds Europe and Africa, but yellow holds Asia, Australia, and the bulk of North America. They wisely realize that their only chance is to starve out yellow, which is fairly overextended, and strike eastward from Ukraine and Egypt, chewing up portions of Asia and breaking through to strike at the heart of yellow's enterprise, pushing as far as Indonesia. Yellow starts awkwardly, with plenty of standing forces out of position and scant reinforcements. They choose to not contest North America, and concentrate on kicking green back out of Australia and Asia. The dice roll well for yellow, and they take the opportunity to return the favor and take Ukraine, denying green the bigger continent bonus.

Trust me, I’m not moving my vote right now.
Problem is, that claim more or less killed the dramonic wagon.
And I could argue cases all day about dramonic and his claim,
but reality dictates I need to look at the other options in the lynchpool.

Inferno you realise you called the xyzzy wagon scummy and it appears to me like you just didn’t look kenthat people are moving away from your lynch pool

Alright you corrected it and said Elbirn was the scummy one for advocating it but still, point stands

Then you have considered that HitAlt is a lynchbait mislynch but good for info, something you have _just_ advocated against

Could it be that you know HitAlt is town but you just don’t know how to get on that wagon? ;)

And what are your actual reads on the lynchpool you just brought up?

Because your posts don't align to you scumreading all of the 4 people you say would be an optimal lynch today...

~~~
UNVOTE:
With an extra day, and the claim, I don't want to have my vote up yet. I have a better understanding of
dram's
play a little now, but I still don't like his gameplay...
But in the same breath, I can see him being town. I could revote this soon, but I may not.
I don't feel comfortable lynching claims at all D1,
especially protective roles.
Elbirn
, please outline what makes you think
xyzzy
, he looks into a lot of posts and comments on them but I don't know how and what conclusions he's gone to.
At the same time, I don't feel too hot about his flashwagon.
Flubb
, you posted that you acknowledged a
dram
but what do you think about it...? Also, did you see my post in response to you?
@Taly: I have a town lean on you and Hit. Null on flub. Strong scumread on dramonic.
That being said, the lynchpool is not based on my reads alone. It’s based on the fact that there has simply not been enough discussion around any other players to justify a lynch. I believe wholeheartedly that we should be trying to lynch scum. But there is always the possibility of being wrong on a read, no matter how good it is. And the only way to counteract a mislynch is by lynching in such a way that town gets information to work off of the next day.
Lynching outside of this pool, IMO, completely destroys any reasonable chance we have of having a productive D2.
Say xyzzy is scum. Great. One less scum to deal with. Then what? We lynched out of a hat more or less, and now we have nothing to go off of D2.
And if he's town? We've literally wasted D1 on a flashwagon.
Dramonic woud be my prefered lynch at this point. But this is the pool town as a whole needs to agree within in the next 24 hours.
If that claim by Dram is a fakeclaim, it was well thought-out.
I already had reason to believe that this game has a toe or two over the normal line anyway, so a modifier like that is very much believable.
The question remains though, whether there's a
scum
role with that modifier, but I believe that modifier exists.
I dislike rolespeculation because it probably helps scum more. Someone could be attempting a rolehunt as well, so only direct CCs should be given.
No CC here.
At some point I might say that I myself can detect even an attempt, but for now I'll tone the provocation down..! I'm not suicidal.
I'll move my vote after I wake up (10h) if another option is agreed upon.
I am Alt. Hope it's a hit.
@profii: Yes.
You’re a pretty strong Town read. So is brass.
I have a scumlean on Andrius’ slot.
Elbirn was a town lean, but I’m reevaluating after that flashwagon.
I don’t have much on Sky, Chickadee, HWS,!or xyzzy at this point, but if I had to give reads in 10 seconds, a very weak town lean on them.
MoI is a pretty weak scum lean, mostly gut.
Duck could go either way for me.
Ausuka is a strong town lean.
Dram's
Dram's claim seems to me like just away to turn off the increasing wagon on him. He wasn't even in hammer range yet, but he acts so worried about it.
Plus there's the fact that his claim conveniently cannot be checked N1 and the fact that JK is a reasonable role for both scum and town.
and then the fact that the entire post feels defensive.
Moi is a gut read that I really want to go relook at. There's something about his early posting that's been rubbing me the wrong way. But like with Elbirn early on, it could just be me.
