Well, I've never played a scum game where Sakura didn't scumread me by my 3rd post
I still remember a blitz game where titus caught me in exactly 17 posts
Gamma's not that bad at reading
FA hasn't played with me in a while but she can read me pretty well
And if you started wallposting at me I'd probably just lie down and take it cause defending myself would be a bother.

I think a good bunch of his catch up posts align with what i thought of the gamestate at that point, considering i never elaborated on anything it's certainly possible he came to those thoughts on his own, and is more likely town rather than copying me or appealing to me.
The toranaga read is something i hadn't considered myself tho, and i find it a Point of Interest, might have to look at magical girls and compare.

It's probably town-indicative that he's starting the game very very similarly to how he did in Police Academy 1 (a game where I correctly deduced he was town when he was a lynch target and shielded him), yet it was before I entered the game.

I don't think I'm especially good at reading him in general, though.

I don't see townreading it as completely offbase, but I don't agree that its townposting. I see cerb's post as an easy opinion to have, and likewise a townread on it to be an easy opinion to have as well.

ok 3 people claimed they voted me That is way under than what I thought I had

either scum really didn't have a pregame chat - they decided to split vote and allow town to choose people - or they voted me cause they think they can control me

if scum voted you and you're town, they don't have to lie about it. the 3 people that voted you making you leader leads to me thinking scum votes were spread out to avoid associative reads, especially if you won with just 3 votes. wolves can have pregame chat AND not coordinate their votes in any way, cause that leaves a readable paper trail town can figure things out with.

I don't think this is what happened.

I think scum spread votes out to increase the chances of slots they aren't afraid of being leader-picked. It doesn't take a whole lot to skew the vote count. This is even more likely the more of those slots scum would normally be afraid of being leader-picked were scum instead.

It achieves the same effect but looks significantly less suspicious and gives significantly less information than actively skewing towards one specific player.

Useless or anti-town?

Cause this whole "zomg I can't see the direct scumlink in this right now and therefore it's bad" is just getting super old. There's gonna be speculation on mechanics that is wrong, there's going to be erroneous information posted that doesn't help town, that happens in literally every game.

Unless something is anti-town, then this whole "zomg look at this useless info" is just people trying to make themselves appear more useful than they are, it contributes nothing whilst complaining about lack of contribution.
