His "we probably need to experiment a bit" felt like the kind of thing scum would say trying to pretend to be figuring out the challenge and/or give them an excuse to mess up. realllyyy light ping though I wouldn't put much stock in it

and I'm with ya on Enigma now, agree with your 48 and I didn't like the way he phrased his question in 91 towards WhyMafia, the way he provides his own explanation but then makes it a question anyway reads like scum trying to pretend to sort

This challenge on Day 1 is horrible. We gain nearly no alignment info out of it.

like the reason we have less alignment info in this setup is because we don't have traditional lynch mechanics with visible votes/wagons, not because we have to count

and even in a regular Day 1, you don't really gain much solid alignment info until after the first flip. like I don't feel particularly concerned about this challenge, calling it "horrible" just seems melodramatic

A normal D1 we get to vote publicly, claim people are jumping on wagons for scummy reasons, train/pressure certain people with provable threats of lynch, etc. etc. There is no public voting D1 ... so not quite normal.

Plus reading through spam posts is a bit dull.

In other news, if people are V/LA the weekend, means we are half way through D1 by the time people return. So we should figure out a strategy to finish this challenge over the weekend and implement it early next week. It should only take less than an hour ... but it would need at least three people online for that whole time. Unless people don't manage to screw it up before then and we some how miraculously get to 325 without a proper strategy.

this sounds fine. i'm thinking we should decide the three people based on when three people are free together. i'm generally available evenings PST during the week

we should also aim to do this at least a day before the deadline in case there's an error that no one spots while they're doing the counting
