Most obvious option is scum in the Titus superhero team chose it and used on Ank for dat kill.
This really makes no sense. IS is an active power. Unless Ank had reason to think she was the target she probably would have utilized her other power, since she had two of them.

Nancy power negation blocks all super power using - like bp and the phasing

That means by doing that on player x, the factional kill targeting them will be strongmaned

And if I follow your case you’re making a case scum exist simply because power negation is in the list
But with Precognition as a power that means the lists have to have been made before the game started.

Well, unlrss someone chose spiritual mediumship N1, there is no way of knowing if Ank even got a superhero power N2.

I haven’t fully caught up on the thread - still reading. Did Titus give you one?

That’s why I’m thinking if Ank did get a superpower and she did choose IS, she probably would have considered useless due to that.

From ank pov: if she was sure there was a scum with power negate she knew she couldn't do bp so she would go with her medium probably. otherwise she could decide between bp or other abilities she had

From mafia pov: they couldn't possibly guess if Ank is doing the bp or something else so their optimal play would be using power negation on ank then killing her.

So yeah I think it's safe to assume that no scum would try killing ank UNLESS if they had power negate or a factional strongman or if they just decided to do a bold move and trust her softs that she was using medium last night.

If Ank was so sure about scum having a power negate A) She attacks the list before the end of day and B) Then she would take literally whatever as power negate would make it useless. So saying she would take another power she knew would be negated is just as ridiculous as saying she would not take BP because useless?

I agree from the mafia POV that would be an optimal play.
However I can create a lot of optimal plays. That isn’t a case for that specific scenario.
