But I still feel that the manner in which Tora declared his 3p read on Elsa, and then bragging about it was over-the-top and unlikely to come from scum.

Aha! Proof that I was right and that Thor is pushing a lynch on me for scummy reasons. It says right in the fucking role flip that LD/TPFKAP knows exactly who her teammates “Hands of Blue” are but not the other way around. So since HoB don’t know about LD (TPFKAP), LD certainly knows about them. So therefore

any vote that TPFKAP made is possibly an associative read that can possibility help town discern who HoB are.

The standard version knows their teams identity, isn't known, and loses if they are the last member of their faction.

This one, as per the flip, did not now their teams identity, presumably wasn't known, and inherited the kill of their faction if they were the last member.

You misunderstood..

The typical mod way of flipping scum or traitor who knows his buddies in this site is to literally use "[redacted]" instead of the player name. The role PM here did not have that. It's reasonable to assume TPF did not know the actual players only their flavor.

It is possible. We shouldn't play towards it, because honestly if they're bad scum we should catch them on other reasons, but it is theoretically possible.

And the scum equity is negative. It actually makes them less likely to win than not claiming at all, because EJ's flip paints really bad associatives with Toranaganate in that case, and EJ is likely to flip before LYLO.

I'm asking for real here not just to dissuade you. It'd be a fascinating scum gambit if they are actually scum.

I mean, Elsa *wanted* to be publicly leashed, ensuring that their heals couldn't be viewed as a threat by any killing entities, while also claiming neutral and thus a potential ally to every faction. Seems like a reasonable path to take if one wanted to minimize the odds of being cross killed for at least one half of your team. They also claimed ascetic, dissuading anyone from spending on action on checking any of their claims.

All in all, reasonable scum line to take, especially if the player in question is known for playing in a "survivor" type way.
